NFL 9/17 Early Game - Finals Roundup

Now that the Raiders game its time to take a look around the rest of the league.

Oakland 0/2 - 6
at
Baltimore 2/0 - 28
I picked: Baltimore (correct)
Again I'm not surprised by the outcome obviously but it still hurts.

Houston 0/2 - 24
at
Indianapolis 2/0 - 43
I picked: Indianapolis (correct)
Another game that wasn't a surprise to me, even the score was no surprise. The Texans are a long way away, I think they should really wish they had picked Reggie Bush and not Mario Williams.

New Orleans 2/0 - 34
at
Green Bay 0/2 - 27
I picked: New Orleans (correct)
A competitive game, I am not surprised that this was close. I was quite stunned to see Green Bay leap out to a 13-0 lead but the Saints came back. I think the Saints aren't that good but they could very likely start out 3-0 on the season.

Cleveland 0/2 - 17
at
Cincinnati 2/0 - 34
I picked: Cincinnati (correct)
The Browns could head in to Oakland 0/3 at they play Baltimore next week. Although if Baltimore plays as bad as they did today, Cleveland could win. Nice strong start for the Bengals.

Detroit 0/2 - 7
at
Chicago 2/0 - 34
I picked: Chicago (correct)
So much for picking the Lions to win the NFC North, of course I wasn't nearly that foolish. The Bears exploded for 34 points and their offense is not that scary. That should say something about the Lions.

Tampa Bay 0/2 - 3
at
Atlanta 2/0 - 14
I picked: Atlanta (correct)
I'm surprised that Tampa is having so much trouble, perhaps its age catching up with the team? I don't know but 0/2 is a big hole to climb out of in a good division. Atlanta plays New Orleans for the NFC South Lead.

Carolina 0/2 - 13
at
Minnesota 2/0 - 16
(overtime)
I picked: Carolina (incorrect)
I'm beginning to doubt Carolina though a healthy Steve Smith will certainly change things. The Vikings at 2/0 are off to a good start, especially with Green Bay and Detroit being so bad, the Vikings may have clinched at least second place in the division.

Buffalo 1/1 - 16
at
Miami 0/2 - 6
I picked: Miami (incorrect)
I'm not stunned by this loss as Buffalo always plays Miami tough. The Dolphins are 0/2 and the winner of Jets/Patriots will be 2/0 which is not what you want to see early if you're a Dolphins fan. Not impossible to come back, lots of football left to be played, but I think the 'Phins were looking for a better start.

New York Giants 1/1 - 30
at
Philadelphia 1/1 - 24
(overtime)
I picked: New York Giants (Correct)
A collapse for the Eagles bigtime, they had a 24-7 lead and watched the Giants score 23 unanswered points to win the game. That hurts the Eagles bad.

Overall: 7/2 in the early games, much better than last week.
