OCC NBA coverage

The first OCC post on the NBA is to a story in the Chicago Tribune about how 6 time NBA All-star Shawn Kemp missed a scheduled tryout with the Chicago Bulls

Now I found this newsworthy because:

• I didn't know Shawn Kemp was even thinking of making a comeback and am not entirely sure of when it was he left.
  
  
• Kemp said he missed the workout due to a family emergancy, so I've got to wonder which of his obscene amount of children was in need of attention?
  
  
• The workout is likely not going to be rescheduled.

I don't think Kemp had a chance in the world of making the Bulls, but I did find it interesting that they wanted to work him out.
