Ranking the defense.

The Raiders Blog
has a companion piece to yesterday's rank of the offense and this time we look at the defense with teams up next.

You can't argue that Derrick Burgess is anything other than the team's most important defender.

You can't argue that field position isn't important and that's where Shane Lechler's value comes in to play.

Now I really don't have any objections with the rest of the rankings either. I personally expect very big things from Fabian Washington.
