Live Raiders Blogging

Score:
Cleveland - 24
Oakland - 21

Cleveland has scored 21 unanswered points to take a 3 point lead.

Carr takes Dawson's kick out of the endzone and up to the 24 yardline.

  1. 1st and 10 at the Oak 24: Jordan carries up the middle and is met by Alvin McKinley for a short gain.
  2. 2nd down: Walter's pass is caught by Alvis Whitted up to the 34 yardline.
  3. 1st and 10: Jordan carries up to the Raider 39 for a gain of 5.

    The third quarter ends.

A disasterous quarter for the Raiders sees their lead become a deficit. You can't even really blame this one on the offense as both special teams and the defense played their fair share of bad football.
  4. 2nd and 5: Jordan carries for a first down.
  5. 1st and 10: Jordan carries for a gain of 3.
  6. 2nd and 7: Walter's pass caught by Randal Wialliams to the Cleveland 39 for a first down. (Williams dropped a couple early, nice to see him hold one)
  7. 1st and 10 at the Cleveland 39: A tricky play, end around to Ronald Curry who tossed it deep to Randal Williams but it was incomplete. (I like the idea but the execution wasn't there)
  8. 2nd and 10: Walter's pass is caught by Randy Moss but the pass is negated by a holding penalty on Jake Grove.
  9. 2nd and 20: Jordan takes the ball down to the Cleveland 45.
  10. 3rd and 16: Walter's pass complete to Ronald Curry for a big game, questionable spot but the Raiders did not.
  11. 4th and short: Lamot Jordan stuffed behind the line and turn the ball over on downs.

Bad coaching! The Raiders should've challenged the spot on the Curry catch.
