MLB: Yankees loss to cost Torre his job?

It is reported that Lou Piniella will be the next Yankee skipper. Its just too bad for the Yankees that not all of their failures can be traced directly to the manager. The reality is they'll probably have a $210 million payroll next season and still lose in the first round of the playoffs. Until they learn they'll never learn if you know what I mean.
