WWE Thursday Night RAW 2/15/07 Live Coverage

Here we are again with live coverage of a special Thursday Night RAW. As you all know, Casey is also doing coverage for Impact tonight. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say I'll have a far more entertaining show but Casey will have the more entertaining coverage.



Show opens with Mr.McMahon coming down to the ring. He introduces Donald Trump who comes out to the ring with Torrie Wilson and Ashley who I didn't even recognize. He sends Torrie and Ashley out of the ring and gives him a microphone. Trump says he's not intimidated. Vince says he stole his "You're Fired!" phrase. Trump says he's gonna drop cash from the ceiling again but Vince says he's taken care of that. Crowd starts an "Asshole chant" and Trump says the fans are right. His proposal is a match at Wrestlemania 23. Vince weasels out of it and instead says they pick wrestlers to represent each other. Trump counter-counter proposes and adds hair vs. hair. Vince refuses at first but Trump tells him he doesn't have guts and they shake on it to make it official. Now that I've seen what Ashley looks like now I'm tempted to watch Smackdown to see her Playboy cover.

First match of the night is Melina and Nitro taking on Mickie and Super Crazy (again). Melina goes after Mickie right away but Nitro and Crazy seperate them. Nitro and Crazy start it out. Crazy with ten punches in the corner and Melina comes up behind Mickie and throws her off the apron. Innovative legdrop from Nitro for 2. Nitro shoves Crazy into Micke then rolls him up for 2. Mickie and Melina now in and Mickie is throwing Melina around by her hair then a Thesz press. Double baseball slides onto Melina and Nitro on the outside. Melina holds the tights to get the win.

Eugene is now in the ring and he taking Great Khali. Telling Khali you're special isn't gonna work here. Eugene tries to give Khali his stuffed bear but Khali bats it into the crowd and demolishes him.

Just saw a short video of Ashley's Playboy shoot and all I have to say is...Holy Crap!!! Backstage now with Shawn and Maria. Shawn talks to somebody on a cell phone, plugs the new DX DVD then talks about his NWO and WM matches.

Now onto Grisham and Flair backstage. They replay the humbling of Carlito by Flair last week. I must say I really loved this segment. The fact that a legend like Flair delivered it made it even better. Carlito comes in before Flair can say anything and demands an apology. Flair says Carlito has no guts and no heart. Carlito challenges Flair to a match tonight and he accepts.

Next up we have Jeff Hardy taking on Chris Masters. If Master's wins this he gets an IC Title shot down the line. Nearfall for Masters after a powerbomb. Masters applies the Masterlock with Jeff on the top turnbuckle and takes it to the middle of the ring but Jeff gets in the ropes to break it then rolls Masters up for the win.

Lawler introduces "Rowdy" Roddy Piper!!! Fans are going nuts and I don't blame them. Piper introduces "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes as the first inductee in the 2007 WWE Hall of Fame. Dusty said he's been humbled 3 times. Is that even possible? They're interrupted by Umaga. Piper is calling for a timeout then leaves the ring as Dusty tries to take it to Umaga. Umaga answers with a punch to the throat and smashes him in the corner. Piper tries to hit Umaga with a chair but he srugs it off and Spikes both Rhodes and Piper.

Now up to Carlito taking on Flair. Carlito with a series of nearfalls then a suplex and another nearfall. Flair lights up Carlito. Punches in the corner and more chops. Nice dropkick by Carlito but Flair prevents the backcracker and rolls Carlito up for the win. Carlito shakes Flairs hand and leaves the ring.

Now backstage with Nitro and Melina. Melina asks who's more important than her and they switch to Ashley. They go to a video of Ashley's Playboy shoot. Once again...HOLY CRAP!!! Ron Simmons comes in with the one word to describe her cover.

Orton, Edge, MVP and Kennedy talk about their match tonight.

We are now onto the main event. There's 30 minutes left so they're really giving this match some time. They'll probably be at least one commercial break in between it though. They got through all 8 entrances then went to commercial so hopefully there won't be any breaks during the actual match.

Cena and Orton start out. Nice suplex by Cena gets 2. Cena tries to tag in but Orton thumbs his eye and tags in Kennedy. Shoulderblock by Orton and Undertaker is tagged in. Old School from Undertaker and het gets off Kennedy before MVP tries to break it up. HBK tagged in and is taking it to Kennedy. MVP now tagged in and gets a nearfall. HBK stomps MVPs face. Edge now tagged in and punches HBK. Batista now tagged in and gives Edge a huge powerslam. Batista gives a spinebuster to everybody but Orton, sginals for the Batista and we go to commercial. I shouldn't have changed my mind on the commercial thing.

Batista still going on Edge then tags in Cena. Orton tags in and gtes a couple nearfalls. Undertaker comes in and breaks up a pin as MVP is tagged in. 2 count for MVP. Cena powers out of MVPs move but doesn't get a tag as Kennedy tags in and stops him. Nearfall for Kennedy who tags in Orton. Orton with a nearfall who tags in Edge. Undertaker is pacing on the apron. Double clothesline and Undertaker is tagged in taking everybody out. Big boot to Kennedy and double clothesline. HBK gets the blind tag and it's all broken down. HBK Superkicks the crap out of Orton and gets the pin. Post match beatdown is a chokeslam for HBK and Batista Bomb for Cena as we end the show.
