No Wanderlei but Pride 34 'Kamikaze' could feature some surprises
MMAWeekly.com has all of the details from the Pride Press Conference, Here.
Akira Shoji is taking the place of Bazigit "Volk" Atajev in his fight with Gilbert Yvel. The proposed Wanderlei Silva Vs. Igor Vovchanchyn fight is not going to happen but out going Pride President Nobuyuki Sakakibara hinted that there might be a surprise fight or 2.
One thing I will not miss when the change over takes place is cards being announced at the last minute. Hopefully, Zuffa has the good sense to announce matches far in advance like they do for UFC, I guess time will tell on that one.
Also, it is looking very likely that I will provide live coverage for this show.
The bout order as it stands:
