When something horrific happens, like a death or an attempted killing, who among us doesn't think to ourselves that one of the top priorities in the grieving process is selling a t-shirt

If they were playing this angle for laughs the entire time, this would not only be ok with me, but I'd wonder what took them so long...but since they can't decide between silly and serious and flip-flop on a segment by segment basis, it is just another stupid thing they've done.
