Atlanta, Washington and Denver in a 3-way dance.
According to sources, a rare 3-team trade has gone down in the NFL
According to PFT & ESPN
the trade is:
Atlanta sends RB T.J. Ducket to the Redskins.
Washington sends an undisclosed draft choice to Denver.
Denver sends WR Ashley Lelie to Atlanta.
It is a trade that would seem to make sense for all involved. Atlanta needed receiver help in a bad way. Ashley Lelie wanted out of Denver in a worse way. Washington has no problem trading draft choices for proven players and Ducket is a great insurance policy in case Clinton Portis is out for a very long time, or a nice change of pase if he's able to return soon.
This trade may have just made it harder for the Raiders to trade Jerry Porter as now 1 less receiver needy team is out there.
