Curry returns to Practice

The Curry in question is Raiders WR - Ronald Curry.

My daily Raiders comments are behind the cut, so...

It is good to have Curry back. He is a pure athlete that had a real strong season 2 years ago before it was cut short by injury. He tore an achilles last season and didn't have much of an impact. Health has been a question, but I think the team was just holding him out because these games mean nothing and its better to be safe than sorry.

In other news from the article, it appears that Jerry Porter is firmly in the doghouse. This is a good thing because it shows that the lack of accountability displayed by previous coaching regimes is gone. It all stems from an altercation that Porter and Shell had back when Shell was named coach of the team and booted Porter out of his office.

I'm not going to go so far as to suggest that all of Porter's complaints were unfounded.

He was worried that the Raiders offense is outdated and that's a valid argument. We won't know if it is or isn't until the games mean something. Tom Walsh has been out of the game for awhile and his last stint as Raiders offensive coordinator saw him get into it with Jeff Hostetler and Tim Brown during games.

But having said that Porter just needs to step in line and follow the coach. Time will prove who's right.
