Mr. Burns not so Exellent?
The above link is to an article about the 8 worst bosses on television and not surprisingly, Homer Simpson's boss Mr. Burns made the list.
Now, Cosmo Spacely is the only other boss on the list with which we are even remotely familiar but there is no question Mr. Burns deserves to be on the list.
First of all, he can never remember Homer's name. This dispite all of the contact tey've had with one another over the years and also dispite the fact that Mr. Burns clearly remembers other members of the Simpson family.
However, Mr. Burns is also a bad boss if for no other reason than the fact that he keeps employing someone as clearly incompitant as Homer. Homer is a man who managed to cause a nuclear meltdown in a simulator in spite of the fact that there was no radioactive material present.
So, we at the OCC give a salute to Mr. Charles M. Burns for his well-deserved spot on the list. We salute a man who may be older than even the Old Country of which we occupy a corner.
