While I'm in a ranting mood...

I did some blogging on last night's Raiders game. Until the final quarter where I fell asleep with 2 minutes left in the game.

I know its only preseason but good God were they horrible last night. Stupid turnovers, QB's getting sacked, absolutely dumb penalties, they were in fine form, if their goal was to remind me of how much they sucked last season.

The proof that this was a preseason game lies in the fact that they still won the game even though their play was far more attrocious than the play of Minnesota.

We here in the Old Country will never abandon a favorite Sports team no matter how much they may suck, witness the aweful play of the Atlanta Braves and an absolutely stupid trade a couple of summers ago by the L.A. Lakers

But we here in the Old Country have a funny feeling that there will be a lot of bitching coming from these parts once the regular season starts. We here are also afraid that the Raiders will be humbled many numbers of times in the Old Country Way if they don't start playing like professionals and not junior high students.
