Early thoughts from tonight's preseason game.

As you should know by now just by looking at the links list, the Oakland Raiders are the official football team of the Old Country Corner.

First quarter, same old Raiders. Stupid penalties at the worst time, responsible for a Viking touchdown. The one nice thing was that they got a turnover which is nice as they didn't get many of those last season and while this is only preseason the stupid penalties have plagued this team for well...as long as there has been a team to plague.

Its in the second quarter now and the first-team Raider offense has done nothing and Aaron Brooks has been under pressure a bunch. The first team defense has played well save for the stupid penalties on the Vikings first drive that resulted in a touchdown.

I suspect that when this commercial ends we'll start to see the second teamrs.

Why do I right about preseason football? Cause the Atlanta Braves official baseball team of the Old Country are stinking up the season.
