Despereaux director and cast list.

The Hollywood Reporter has all of the scoop on the Universal Studios picture "The Tale of Despereaux crew".

One thing from the description baffles me:

announcing Corpse Bride's Mike Johnson as director, replacing The Triplets
Of Belleville's Sylvain Chomet, plus Justin Long, Dustin Hoffman and Kevin Kline as some of the voice actors. "Despereaux is the tale of three misfits
-- a banished mouse, a rat who likes the light and a young servant girl with cauliflower ears -- whose fates are intertwined with a princess."

Apparently, it is important to the plot that the young servant girl has cauliflower ears.

This movie does not have blockbuster written all over it.
