Division Overview: This division has 1 very good team, a very fortunate team and 2 cities with NFL franchises. It went a combined 32/32 last season but the Colts accounted for 14 of those victories, that's almost half.
Houston Texans
- 2005 Record: 2/14 (forth place)

- Key Question: Will the Texans live to regret taking Mario Williams over Reggie Bush?
- Team Strength: You've got to like a receiving core that features Andre Johnson and Eric Molds.
- Team Weakness: You can't like any of the Houston running backs with Dominick Davis on IR, its a good thing they drafted Reggie Bu...oh wait.
- Outlook: A new coaching staff comes to town and due to the presence of the Titans the Texans may rise to third in the division.
Indianapolis Colts
- 2005 Record: 14/2 (first place)

- Key Question: Can Peyton Manning win the big one? Will the Colts miss Edgerin James?
- Team Strength: The entire offense is a strength and Manning could have another MVP type season.
- Team Weakness: Until the prove that they've found the right guy, you've got to wonder if Edgerin James can be replaced.
- Outlook: The Colts are super bowl contenders again just like they are every year it seems.
Jacksonville Jaguars
- 2005 Record: 12/4 (Second Place)

- Key Question: Was last season a fluke? Can Matt Jones replace Jimmy Smith?
- Team Strength: The Jaguars have a pretty nice looking defense especially on the defensive line.
- Team Weakness: They need to keep players at the offensive skill positions healthy and hope that they have a replacement for Jimmy Smith.
- Outlook: The Jaguars benefited from an easy schedule last year and aren't as fortunate this time around. They should slip a bit but not enough to be overtaken by Houston or Tennessee.
Tennessee Titans
- 2005 Record: 4/12 (Third Place)

- Key Question: How will Kerry Collins do as the team's starting QB? Will Vince Young see the field this season? Is this Jeff Fisher's last year with the team?
- Team Strength: Jeff Fisher is a good coach and Travis Henry is a good running back.
- Team Weakness: Collins hasn't been with the team for very long, how well does he know the offense? Can the offensive line protect him?
- Outlook: I've said this probably about more teams than this is possible for but they're in the race for a top 5 draft pick.
Projected Finish:
