Joining the game in progress on Sirius channel 181.


We're really going to be joining the game in progress as the Colts/Titans game is still airing on this channel.

Actually, I'm in time for the Kickoff. San Francisco won the toss, lets hope its a sign of things to come.

I'm going to be trying out a new format for the blog, we'll see how it goes.

A 23 yard kickoff return for the 49ers gives them first and 10 at around the 28 I think?

1. 1st and 10: Frank Gore breaks a 7 yard run.
   
2. 2nd and 3: Gore carries to the 49er 46 yardline and a first down.
   
   San Francisco has 2 runs both for sizable gains early.
   
   
3. 1st and 10: Gore again carries for 3 yards.
   
   For those confused, its Frank, not Al. Oh, and Don West is not chanting "Gore, Gore, Gore" for Frank either.
   
   
4. 2nd and 8: Smith tosses to Antonio Bryant who is down to the Raider 40 yardline.
   
   The Raiders are offering little resistance on the opening drive.
   
   
5. 1st and 10 Oak 41: Michael Robinson carries to the Raider 37.
   
6. 2nd and 7: Smith passes to Frank Gore for the first down after a 11 yard gain.
   
   Burgess was chacing Smith but Smith got the pass off and Gore was right there. We have an injury timeout as the 49ers have lost tackle Jonus Jennings to an injury. That's not what they needed.

7. 1st and 10: Gore carries down to the 23.
   
   I'd just like to thank the Colts for their comeback victory. Same also for Minnesota. I'm having a really good day so far with my picks.
   
   
8. 2nd nd 5: Smith trows to Antonio Bryant down to the Oakland 18.
   
   I hope New Orleans wins I could have a perfect afternoon if they do and they were up 24-21.
   
   The chains come out and it is now third and short.
   
   
9. 3rd and less than a yard at Oak 18: Gore with a big run down to the Raiders 7.
   
   Yeah, the Raiders aren't winning this game with the defense playing this way. This is ok though as I picked the 49ers.
   
   
10. 1st and goal Oak 7: Gore carries for no gain.
    
    Sapp and Sands had none of that play.
    
    
11. 2nd and goal: Robinson carries down to the 4.
    
    
12. 3rd and goal: Alex Smith throws a touchdown pass to Arnez Battle.
    
    A 72 yard drive, real impressive for the 49ers.
    
    
13. Joe Nednee to attempt the extra point, and it is good.
