WWE RAW 2/5/07 Live coverage
First, allow me to say...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! I may be a year older but definetly not a year wiser. I will be doing a very special (to me) birthday edition of RAW. Check back throughout the night for the latest RAW craziness.
We start out once again with the video package of the Rumble then onto Undertaker's appearences on all 3 brands. Undertaker is now in the ring. Cena comes out before Undertaker can say anything and holds up the belt. Before Cena can say anything, ECW World Champ Bobby Lashley comes out and holds his belt up. Now World Champion Batista has come out to the ring. Undertaker has made his choice and it is Batista. HBK has now come out nd tries to challenge Cena but Orton comes down the ramp and tries to challenge Cena but Edge has come outand says he wants the shot. Anybody else getting flashbacks of last week's RAW? McMahon has now come out to the stage and I can tell where this is going. He runs down Sioux City and points out nobody has challenged Lashley and says he is the best champ in the ring. He tells Lashley he is going to defend the ECW World Title tonight. He then goes on to have a Triple Threat match for #1 Contendership for the WWE Title. Undertaker and Batista are the only men in the ring now and Undertaker chokeslams Batista.

Back from commercial with Carlito and Cryme Tyme taking on The World's Greatest Tag Team and Chris Masters. All 6 men waste no time with JTG and Benjamin left in the ring. Tag to Haas. Nice overhead belly to belly for 2. Tag to Masters. Tag back to Haas. Carlito tagged in and cleans house. Masters distracts the ref which lets Benjamin come to hit a move on Carlito for Haas to get the pin.
Flair vs. Jeff and Mickie vs. Melina are also scheduled for tonight.

Back from commercial with a video package of what happened with Trump and McMahon last week. Now backstage with McMahon and Coach. Kenny comes in and says he wants to face Lashley. McMahon says yes and Coach hands Vince a letter from Trump. Trump is going to up the ante next week and actually appear and give McMahon a proposal. McMahon hints around about the Kiss My Ass club.
Maria is backstage interviewing Ric Flair.
Now onto Melina and Candice. They talk about her Superbowl commercial and Nitro says he'll take care of Super Crazy. Speaking of Super Crazy, I have an idea for a new gimmick for Super Crazy. He should get a Superman-like outfit, put a "C" on the front then have Gregory Helms go back to The Hurricane so they can team up. That team would be luke warm!

Back from commercial with Balls Mahoney in the ring. Coach comes out and announces his opponent. All I have to say is...Nice knowing ya Balls. If you can't guess, he is facing Umaga.

Back from commercial with the WWE Rewind of what happened between Melina and Mickie. We are now onto Johhny Nitro vs. Super Crazy. Nitro takes the advantage early on. Wonder if Johhny Nitro would've made it big on WCW Monday Nitro? He could've done what Rock did saying that Nitro was his show. Nitro with a roll up for 2. Excellent backbreaker on Nitro and an awesome moonsault that gets him the win.

Back from commercial with the Women's Championship match. I won't be surprised to see some hair on the mat after this match. Interesting nearfall by Melina and now with some interesting submissions. Exchange of elbows with Mickie coming out on top. Nearfall by Mickie. Melina tries to hold the ropes but the ref catches her which allows Mickie to roll her up and get the pin. Melina is now going nuts while Nitro chases off the papparazzi.
Backstage with Cena and HBK. Cena says he wants Edge to win and tells him to be safe out there.

Back from commercial with Jeff Hardy vs. Ric Flair for the IC Championship. Hardy with a hard slap that sends Flair to one knee and Flair answers with chops. Flair now working on Hardy's knee. Flair with more chops and another knee submission. Flair taunts one time too many and Hardy takes advantage. Twist of Fate and Swanton misses. Flair struts for a while then tries for a Figure Four but Hardy counters with an inside cradle for the pin. Flair and Hardy then shake hands.

Back from commercial with Todd Grisham backstage with Batista. Says he's not intimidated and payback is a bitch.
Now up to Kenny taking on Lashley for the ECW World Title. Lashley just knocked Kenny out of the ring with one punch and is now ramming him in the corner. Good dropkick by Kenny as Lashley comes out of the ring. Nearfall by Kenny. Kenny now with a rest hold. Lashley now with a series of clotheslines and a T-Bone Suplex. Dropkick by Kenny sends Lashley out of the ring as we go to commercial.
Back from commercial with Kenny still in control. High back body drop by Lashley and a very long standing vertical suplex. Strong powerslam by Lashley gets him the win.
Backstage with Edge and Orton. Orton says there won't be any strategy tonight except for him winning.
Now with Carlito and Flair backstage. Flair is now turning his agression on Carlito.

Back from commercial with the Slam of the week from last week when Cena and HBK winning the Tag Titles. It is now time for the main event. Orton and Edge double team HBK to start out. HBK comes back and cleans house. Tries to go up top but Orton throws him off. HBK now thrown outside as we go to commercial.
Back from commercial HBK back in the ring. Big boot from Edge on HBK gets 2. Edge going up top but HBK catches him. Edge about to hit HBK from the top but Orton throws HBK into the turnbuckle and crotches Edge. Orton now with a nearfall on HBK. Orton does have a mean European Uppercut. Orton with a RKO but Edge breaks it up. Edge and Orton now going at it. Double cross body and both men are down. HBK now coming back in the ring, goes up to the top and hits the elbow on Edge but can't capitalize. Superkicks Edge then pins Orton for the win. Cena is now in the ring and they have a staredown as Batista comes out. Undertaker now rises up on the stage and they staredown then look at Cena and HBK as the show ends.
