TNA iMPACT 3/22/07 Live Coverage
I am here for week 2 of my iMPACT coverage. All I have to say to Casey about the last 2 weeks of ECW is...HA-HA!!!
TNA. We have the biggest loudmouth in professional wrestling.
Backstage with Samoa Joe, Rhino and Kurt Angle. He says they're a machine but I think it needs to be fixed a lot.
Serotonin take on Rhino, Joe and Angle. Gee, I wonder who's gonna win this? I'm so interested in this match that I take a potty break during the entrances. Complete squash for Rhino, Joe and Angle with all 3 men hitting their finishers.
Backstage with Christian Cage and AJ Styles. Styles is going ballistic, which is pretty hilarious. They did the smart thing by keeping Latisha quiet.
Commercial.
More with Raven backstage. He was wearing some kind of bird mask so you could hear him easier.
We're now onto Sting and Abyss backstage. Sting's left eye is swollen up and he has a cut as well.
Team 3D are in the ring now and call out LAX. Bubba admits they've been beaten every time they faced LAX. They open up 2 trunks that have their WWE, WCW and ECW Tag Titles in it and say they offer up their legacy for the next match. Konnan comes out and says he doesn't care about their titles. He says their next match is an electrified steel cage.
Commercial.
Bob Backlund is backstage in Jim Cornette's office demanding a match. Cornette counters saying he can referee the match between Senshi and Austin Starr at Lockdown only if he doesn't interfere with Starr's match tonight.
Speaking of Starr, he is now out for a match against Eric Young. Starr pulls off some interesting moves then Robert Roode and Ms. Brooks come down to ringside. EY fights back, hits an awesome elbow. Brooks has distracted the ref which allows Roode to sneak attack EY then Starr hits a brainbuster for the win. Petey Williams comes out to stop Roode from slapping Young but Roode forces EY out of the ring.
Backstage with Jerry Lynn. He talks about his match with James Storm then talks about Christopher Daniels. The lights go out and when they come back Daniels is attacking Lynn.
Commercial.
Backstage with Chris Harris and Cornette. He tells Harris he's not getting a match until he's 100%.
Lynn vs. Storm is up. Another ref comes out and says Lynn is injured and can't compete. Storm gets the mic and says he wants a fight. Harris has come out but Gail Kim comes down and tries to stop him. Jackie spurs Gail on so they brawl while Harris and Storm brawl to the back.
Commercial.
Backstage again with Jackie and Gail fighting in Cornette's office.
Video package of Abyss and Sting. Why the hell did they show this?
Main event time. Sting had control of Cage but Styles interferes then gets tagged in as we go to break.
Cage now in and they've isolated Sting. Cage misses a diving headbutt which allows Sting to tag in Abyss who cleans house. Shock treatment on Styles but Cage breaks the pin. Shock treatment attempt but Styles prevents it. Sting and Styles in the ring now but James Mitchell has come out with some lady. Abyss does his best mummy impression as Sting fights off Styles and Cage. Cage thrown over the top and Sting sets in the Deathlock. Cage distracts the ref which lets Scott Steiner come on and clobber Sting with a pipe which allows Styles to pin him to end the show.
