WWE RAW 3/5/07 Live Coverage
Another week, another RAW. Tonight we will see "Stone Cold" Steve Austin introduced as the Special Guest Referee for the Battle of the Billionaire's match and probably some more dissention between John Cena and HBK. Hopefully it'll be as well thought out as last week's video package, which I still think is one of the best things they've done in years.
We start out with HBK and Cena backstage. They both wish each other good luck. HBK says it's different with Cena than his other partners but Cena questions that. My local cable company cut to commercial before the segment was done! Idiots!!!
We're back after 2 commercials with HBK coming out for his match against Orton. HBK takes control early on. Orton lit up with a chop, throws him into a turnbuckle but gets a boot to the face. Rake to HBK's eyes and is then thrown over the top rope as they go to the actual commercial break.
Back live with Orton still in control. HBK tries to fight back but Orton hits an awesome DDT. Orton's moves on Smackdown vs. RAW 2007 are just as awesome which makes me want to use him a little more, but back to the real thing. Nice back suplex from HBK and is now back in firm control. The big elbow and HBK goes for the Superkick but Orton catches him and we get a ref bump. Edge tries to hand Orton the Tag Title but the ref grabs it which allows HBK to get the rollup win. Edge brings a chair into the ring, sets it on the mat and Orton RKOs him onto it but Cena comes out to prevent anything further attack.

Video of Lashley and Umaga from ECW last week. Backstage with Vince, Coach and Estrada. Jeff is going to get humbled again by Umaga tonight. Coach says he thinks Vince looks stressed but Vince says he ain't sweating the Board of Directors. He throws out Shane McMahon as an idea for a special ref.
Umaga comes down to the ring and pulls one of the mats away from the floor near the steps. Jeff with a series of High Risk moves but Umaga pushes him away and clotheslines him. Jeff is getting sat on by Umaga, tries to fight back but gets clotheslined again. Jeff is tied to the Tree of Woe! Big headbutt and Umaga sits Jeff in the corner and does his awesome butt squash. Samoan Spike and that's all she wrote.

Backstage with Todd Grisham who is interviewing Carlito and Ric Flair. They have Carlito and Flair going at it for the final spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder match. That's a much better idea.
Now to Vince and Coach. Vince is on the phone with Shane and says he's confident the vote will go their way. He says that Coach and Trump look the same bald.

Back with another Masterlock Challenge. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan steps up tonight. He doesn't break it, of course.

Backstage with Cena and HBK. Cena turns down HBK's offer for help in his match later on.
Vince has now come out and does his usual funky walk down the ring. He announces that Donald Trump will be back on RAW for their contract signing and calls the slap he gave Lashley a "Billionaire Bitch Slap" The "Holy Crap!" moment of the night is Eric Bischoff has come out! He talks about what happened the last time he was on RAW then says he's going to enjoy watching Vince getting his head shaved. Mick Foley has come out with a custom made referee shirt. He talks about ass kissing and asks if he can have his job back. Vince agrees and Mick plugs his book and Vince agrees to let him plug it whenever he wants. He then asks Vince if he can take care of his room service and PPV porn and Vince agrees. Mick has now informed us that he is the special referee for an eating contest in a local resturant. Funny stuff! Shane has shown up and doesn't look too pleased. He was trying to get Vince backstage but can't do it. He informs Vince that they lost the vote and Austin has hit the ring. Vince extends his hand but Austin blows him off and calls for some beer. He fakes handing Vince a beer and also fakes wanting to shake his hand. Austin just clinked a couple cans of beer into Vince's face as we go to commercial.
Backstage with Mick and a guy in a Monkey outfit. Simmons comes by and does his trademark.
Ashley is now out as the special ring announcer for the Women's Title match. King is a luck guy and got an advanced copy of Ashley's Playboy. They've taken this match to the backstage already. They're now fighting in the Diva's locker room. Victoria and Torrie Wilson come into the fight then Candice comes out of the "shower" yet she has bottoms on. Mickie takes her towel and uses it against Melina and they knock the cameraman over.

Back with Micke and Melina rolling down the ramp back to the ring. Not a bad Fisherman Suplex from Mickie that gets her 2. Mickie tries for a Hurricanrana but Melina holds onto the top rope and Mickie lands pretty bad. Melina gets the win then goes outside, goes face to face with Ashley who pushes her down.

Now onto Flair and Carlito for the last spot in MITB. Flair lighting up Carlito but Carlito comes back with a back body drop. Carlito with a few nearfalls already and chops Flair in the corner. Inverted atomic drop, chop and a knee to the head gets Flair 2. Great Khali has now come out. He throws out Carlito and decimates Flair. He wants Kane! The 4th Inductee is coming up next.

The next Inductee for the 2007 Hall of Fame is...drumroll please...Nick Bockwinkle!
Backstage with Orton and Edge. Orton says he won't be in Edge's corner.

Main event time. What is this. MNM have come out. Guess they just wanted a closer view. Edge is now out and asks for a mic. He says he's color blind so he can't wrestle but says Nitro is facing Cena instead. Cena thrown outside where Mercury rams him into a turnbuckle then Nitro throws him into the steps. Cena fighting back, hits the 5 knuckle shuffle then goes for the FU but Mercury and Edge come in for the DQ. MNM now attacking Cena then HBK comes down, stops at the end of the ramp, walks back up then runs back into the ring for the save. HBK doesn't even look back as he leaves the ring to end the show.
