Jim Christian has petitioned the Commission to suspend DJ Hyde for his actions at our last event. DJ laid out the ring announcer with a brutal lariat and since the ring announcer was not a licensed participant in the match, the commission has granted Christians request and has suspended DJ for 90 days, effective our last show which was April 28th.
The Club & Core vs The Varsity (Bruce Chan, Zack Matthews & Jimmy Starz): This match came as a result of Jimmy Starz interfering during his partners in The Varsity vs The Club last month and laying out Greg Excellence with a steel chair shot. Core came out to even up the sides for his fellow GBW competitors.
EWA Cruiserweight Champion Steve Desire vs Drew Gulak: This match became personal when "The University City Stretcher" Drew Gulak became "The Shooter" and left a golf ball sized lump over Steve Desires eye at FIGHT THE POWER
EWA Tag Team Champions Jim Christian & Stevie Riggs vs Buster Maccabi & Apollo Cruz: Losing Team must split up Christian & Riggs defeated Apollo & Buster for the EWA tag belts in March. Christian distracted Buster, causing him to get pinned by The Rehobeth Beach Crew in April. Christian & Riggs are having internal problems of their own, but Christian knows if they have to split up, he will be partnerless and may have to relinquish the EWA Tag Team Titles.
Former Partners Collide: Darth X vs Goldthumb THIS MATCH HAS BEEN POSTPONED due to Darth X suffering an ankle injury at a recent GBW show in Pennsylvania. We will have an opponent for Goldthumb on June 2nd.
EWA Heavyweight Champion Derek Frazier has offered to defend his title against ANY FORMER EWA Heavyweight Champion.
The Gemini Trojans vs The Christian Academy Jim Christian has promised a roadblock for any team hoping to take the EWA Tag Team titles out of his hands, and the roadblock will debut on June 2nd. The only member of the Academy not already signed to a match is 2006 EWA Rookie of the Year Champ Champagne. Will Champagne be part of this match? If so, who is the 2nd participant? If Christian doesnt put Champagne in this match, than that means two new members of the Christian Academy will debut on June 2nd
"The Hotshot" Ryan McBride & Teddy Stigma vs The Rehobeth Beach Crew McBride & Stigma battled The RBC to a double countout in March and demanded a rematch, this time a special 2 out of 3 falls contest. Both teams are being touted as the future of Maryland Wrestling, and the winners of this match will take a big step to making that a reality
