TREIBER INKED FOR AWA RING ANNOUNCER DUTIES AT SPEEDROME

“The World’s Home of the Figure 8” ® is pleased to have Thomas Treiber as our ring announcer at the June 13th AWA Wrestling and racing show. The famous face with the golden voice began his announcing career in a Hammond, Indiana 1991 show. During the next few years he built up his reputation working at event all over the country before debuting nationally on ESPN in 1995.
Treiber’s next big break came when he inked a contract to become the exclusive ring announcer for the boxing series on Fox Sports Net. During this 1997 to 2000 period, he also handled duties on HBO, CBS, and USA’s Tuesday Night Fights. Later in 2000, Thomas moved his skills to the Showtime cable network. Throughout the past few years, he has announced around the world at boxing, wrestling, and even boat racing programs. 2006 saw Treiber move into the booth becoming Fox Sports Net’s television commentator for boxing. We welcome this world renowned ring announcer to the Speedrome.
