Good field position for the Ravens on the kickoff return made it easy to march down the field. It could've been a touchdown but for 2 Ravens penalties down near the goalline.

Chris Carr returns the Matt Stover kickoff to the Raider 33.

Oakland's first drive begins.

Apparently, its hot in Baltimore as the Raiders were made to wear their black jerseys.

1. 1st and 10: Lamont Jordan carries the ball for a 1 yard loss.
   
2. 2nd and 11: Jordan carries for 3 yards.
   
3. 3rd and 8: Aaron brooks fumbles the snap from center and Baltimore recovers.

My comments: Nice to see that they decided to start sucking early.

Baltimore's second drive:

1. Steve McNaire's pass complete to Derek Mason down to the Oakland 25. (nice move to avoid the rush from Burgess)
   
2. 1st and 10: Jamal Lewis on the carry for a gain of 1.
   Ravens call their first timeout of the half, with 7:34 to play in the first quarter.
   
3. 2nd down: McNaire's pass to Todd Heap complete to the Raider 15 for a gain of 5 yards.
   
4. 3rd and 5: McNaire's pass complete to Demetrious Williams, flag down. Penalty on Baltimore declined. The pass also ruled incomplete.
   
5. 4th and 5: Matt Stover connects on a 33 yard field goal.

Comments: Nice job of the defense to hold them to a fieldgoal, but its tough as Baltimore has started in Oakland territory twice.
