OCC News Update
I want all blog contributors to know they can post personal updates if they wish, it doesn't always need to be news, and certainly I can't lead the most interesting life of the bunch, so feel free to post whatever.
Having said that:
Today was a day like any oother accept for the wind. Oh was it windy today. Dust was flying everywhere, it was not the most pleasant day at work.
Speaking of work 3 of 4 days this week I worked with a girl named Akiah (I've got no idea if that's spelled wrong or not its pronounced A-key-yuh) anyway, she's been in Huron for just about 2 weeks. So, to pass the time between orders and such she has asked me about the town which means that I have had to let her down time after time after time.
Anyway, I freaked her out good today when she said: "This wind couldn't blow any harder." I said, well if it were the syrons would probably be going off and when she enquired as to what I was talking about I mentioned the tornado that hit last month. She seemed concerned and asked if it knocked over any houses which of course I truthfully answered yes. It was kind of fun, although not so fun to live through.
Lets see, what else can I say? Oh, I watched 40 year old Virgin on Tuesday. 2 thumbs up for the movie and about 16 more for the commentary on the unrated DVD. Highly recommend anyone that owns the disc listening to the commentary, it is almost as wacky as the eventual Old-Country-Podcast will be. Oh yes, the fund drive has been a screaming failure upto this point but ideas for the podcast are still in the development stage.
Hmmm, what else? I'd just like to say that Simpsons Life is the game of the devil and all who worship him. I do not suck at this game as I do not suck at anything, but this game and its instructions are set up to screw me over.
I'm having all sorts of issues with my cable company which is why I personally will not be watching Unforgiven this weekend. Actually, Mid Continent have been good, it is apparently my bank and terrible budgeting that have been bad.
Other than that, I think this OCC News update will come to its conclusion.
