Now we get the good stuff
The link will take you to JHM's Y4 collumn where he has some good stuff.
He's got info and images from the Walt Disney Feature Animation projects that follow Meet the Robinsons.
and news on a certain film, the kids on the street like to call Toy Story 3.
I've got some comments.
American Dog sounds interesting. I mean the good kind of interesting. It is under the Direction of Chris Sanders who brought us one of my personal favorite Disney films, Lilo and Stitch.
Rapunzel Unbraded is another story. I also mean that literally as this film has been in development hell forever. It was originally going to be a Shrek style film with lots of pop culture references and all that fun stuff. Now it has reverted to a classic fairie tale. You know I'm actually fine with this because I don't need Shrek imitations everywhere I turn. Hoodwinked was Shrek life but had a different sort of charm but Disney would've tried to copy Shrek joke for joke.
Don't get me wrong, I love Shrek and can't wait for the third installment but I just don't want to see it from every studio.
As for Toy Story 3, this film has been off and on again so many times you'd think its a light switch. It is officially on and it sounds like this one will conclude the series. I'm glad to see a third one but I am also hopeful that it concludes the series. I think the folks at Pixar would prefer to do new and original movies and not endless sequels. Of course we won't even get into the fact that they're talking Monsters Inc. 2 and to be honest I think the Incredibles is the most sequel friendly film in their library.
I say as I've said before that the series needs to end by answering the question: "What happens to Andy's toys when he grows up?"
Some good stuff appears to be headed out of the Mouse.
