UG

I don't know what else to say about that article about the use of the 7 step drop during Sunday's Raiders loss to Baltimore

Yes I do:

Tom Walsh needs to be fired. I know he's not even mentioned in this article even once, but eriously he calls the plays. The offense is as plain and predictable as it can get.

No play action? No 3 step drops, few 5 step drops? The further back the QB has to drop the longer the line has to keep the defenders at bay. It would be hard enough to slow down defenses on a 7 step drop with a world class line and this is most definitely not a world class line.

I blame Art Shell for hiring Tom Walsh but I blame Tom Walsh for all the play calling problems.

During the game on sunday, Tom Flores up in the Raiders broadcast booth mentioned the fact that the plays were coming into the huddle too late and by the time the huddle was broken their were only 15 seconds on the play clock. This has to improve and it has to improve in a hurry.

We're talking about the livelyhood's of these QB's that are put out their as essentially sitting ducks.

The 7 step drop has to go for their own safety.

As I said yesterday, if its broke, fix it and this is most definitely broken.
