Live Raiders Blogging

Raiders - 0
49ers - 7

For those that haven't been reading the blog has a new format, not unlike the TNA iMPACT recap in tone.

I'm getting messaged about the Tigers victory over the Yankees. Great story.

Chris Carr returns the kick for 24 yards up to their own 26.

Commercial Break!!!

  1. 1st and 10 Oak 26: Randy Moss found by Andrew Walter for a gain of 7.
  2. 2nd and 3: Walter finds Lamont Jordan for a short gain.

Its not a 3 and out, I'm shocked.

  3. 1st and 10 Oak 36: Lamont Jordan carries for a gain of 3 or 4.
  4. 2nd and 7 Oak 41: Walter finds Randal Williams inside the SF 45.

Oakland moving the ball well early? Now there's a shock.

  5. 1st and 10: Walter's pass to Alvis Whitted is incomplete.
  6. 2nd and 10: Lamont Jordan carries down to the 49er 35 yardline.
  7. 3rd and 4 SF 35: Flag down on the snap, on Lankston Walker.

First dumb penalty of the day for Oakland, expect more.

Oakland calls a timeout because Lamont Jordan couldn't hear the audible from Walter.

Now this is more like it a decent drive start erased by stupid penalties and confusion. Nice to have you back, Oakland.

  8. 3rd and 9: Walter passes complete to Mr. Third down Ronald Curry for a gain of 20 and a first down.

Saints win, I'm having an awesome day for picks 8-0 in early games.

  9. 1st and 10: Jordan on the carry but a flag is down. Its holding on Lankston Walker his second penalty of the drive.
  10. 1st and 20 at the SF 30: Walter finds Lamont Jordan for a gain of 4 yards.

One bad thing about live blogging, I have to wait to read This

  11. 2nd and 16: Walter finds Randy Moss for a gain of 9.
  12. 3rd down and 5 at SF 15: Walter scrambles and is hit by brian Young so hard that his helmet flies off.
  13. 4th down: Cebastian Janikowski nails a 33 yard field goal.

Well, I'll take this 7 points for the 9ers on every drive to 3 for the Raiders.
