2nd JPC Opening Round Match Announced
Starting today, Tuesday May 29th, we will announce one Jeff Peterson Cup tournament match a day, every weekday.
Already announced for the first round has been MCW Champion Adam Flash and Florida's own Sideshow!
And the second match in this year's tournament has been decided.
Due to winning the YaPro tournament and becoming this year's first entrant, Erick Stevens was allowed to choose his opponent in the first round in the 2007 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup.
And after speaking to him at last Friday's FIP show in Inverness, Erick Stevens has decided on his challenger....
Erick Stevens selects..... FPWA Best of the Southern Juniors winner Nooie Lee!!
Stevens gave these comments to the attending JPC Office representative: "I have worked my butt off in Florida and have finally been given some opportunities, but it took some time. I want to give Nooie that chance in one match. If he can beat me, it gives him the big victory he needs to become a major star. I'm not picking Nooie because I think he is an easy win, I am picking Nooie to give him the same opportunity that I have received. If he beats me, he earned it. But if he doesn't, it should just give him more motivation for next year and year's to come."
Good luck to both of these men! Another first round tournament match will be announced tomorrow!! So check out our MySpace pages http://groups.myspace.com/JPC2007 and
