OCC News Update
I haven't done one of these in a couple of days, so how am I doing?
I've honestly had better days than the last couple. Work is fine, but that's all it is, fine. Its not a challenge, its fun working with the people I work with, its not going to make me rich but its better than not working. It is nice to have 2 days off now. I rather like the schedule of Tuesday-Saturday as it leaves Sunday clear for football and monday clear for general whackiness but if he added Monday to my schedule I wouldn't complain about that either.
A funny thing about work today, I had the headset on right at noon and someone was going through the drive-up and the noon whistle went off. For those that don't know the noon whistle goes off every saturday, at noon, no joke! and its basically them testing the warning syron. Well, with my headset on full volume and the whistle being so close, lets just say I heard it a little too loud and a little too clear.
As I mentioned a couple of posts ago, Friday night was spent playing a game of Simpsons life with Wade and Scott and yes, I do know how pathetic it sounds that a 25 year old male spent Friday night playing a board game with 2 26 year old males, I will now light myself on fire.
Actually we had a lot of fun, and called each other a bunch of things that would probably not win us any sportsmanship awards.
I've been tired after work the past few days. I guess that means I haven't been sleeping well and need to go to bed earlier.
My foot is much improved. I almost have full range of motion in it again although it is still puffy beyond belief. It probably doesn't help that Ginny (my dog for those that don't know) keeps stepping on it and yes I'm convinced she does it on purpose.
I'm proud to say that my cold is almost gone.
I can't remember if I mentioned this, but I think I did. The younger of my 2 older brothers has moved back home from South Carolina though I have not talked to him yet.
I'm looking forward to the real kickoff of the NFL season later today. I'll probably flip between TV channels and radio broadcasts, as this is the whole reason for my purchase of Sirius
I think I've rambled enough, a couple more posts I want to make before sleep sets in however.
