ECW 5/15/07 Live Coverage
Hi everybody! I am back this week doing live coverage of ECW. Let's see if it's as boring as last week.
We get our first recap video of the night in the form of Lashley's match last night.
Vince is now being shown via satellite. He says he'll never forgive or forget what happened to him at WM23 and announces Lashley taking on the remaining members of the New Breed tonight.
Let the bodies hit the floor? More like let the s**t hit the fan.
RVD has come out for the first match of the night. They said who he was facing but I was too busy wondering why they were using the Smackdown set to hear it.
Commercial.
His oppnent for tonight is ECW's resident squash match man, Snitsky. RVD tries to kick Snitsky's legs but to no avail. This has be the longest match Snitsky has had since going to ECW because they'd be onto another segment by now. RVD gets a back kick on Snitsky then fights back with more kicks. RVD heel kicks Snitsky to the outside but he takes too much time showboating which allows Snitsky to clothesline him on the outside then blasts RVD with a chair for the DQ. RVD isn't in too much trouble if he gets a DQ win over Snitsky instead of Snitsky squashing him.
Commercial.
CM Punk has come out for his match against Steven Richards with his ribs taped up. Richards rips off the bandages then starts to kick and punch his ribs and gets 2. Richards now with a bow and arrow submission but Punk turns it around gets a nearfall. Richards now with an abdominal stretch but Punk again counters with a hip toss. Punk moves out of the way in the turnbuckle and hits a neckbreaker for 2. Richards tries for a Tornado DDT but Punk reverses into the GTS for the win.
Backstage with NB. Burke asks if they're ready and Cor Von says he is. STryker tries to say something but Burke cuts him off.
Commercial.
Kevin Thorn is out for his match with Nunzio. I heard this was orginally gonna be Sabu/Thorn but Sabu got released his afternoon so that's somewhat of a save. Holy Crap! Thorn just hit a vicious powerbomb. Speaking of vicious, Thorn has been all over Nunzio. Nunzio fights back with a kicks and gets a nearfall but it doesn't last long as Thorn hits The Dark Kiss for the win.

Extreme Expose is now up. The particulars of this are of no concern since it's just the usual dancing to different music. We get the 2nd recap video of the night and it's the same thing that started the show. Why do they need to show it again? We now have Lashley talk about his match tonight and his match at Judgement Day. The graphics they're using for this are pretty cool, like a sci-fi aspect.
Main event time. NB come out as we go to commercial. We're back with Lashley's entrance. Burke says he'll start out but is no doubt regretting it as Lashley takes it to him. Burke runs over to his corner and tags in Cor Von who gets a shoulder block from Lashley then Stryker tags himself in. Stryker gets planted on the outside, Burke gets caught sleeping in the apron but Cor Von pounces Lashley so hard he flies over the top rope. Lashley back in, tries to fight back but NB is in firm control. Burke in, gets a Belly to Belly suplex, tags Cor Von who gets thrown outside then Lashley brings in Stryker who gets destroyed with a spear then gets the win. Lashley stands in the ring looking at the NB as the show ends.
