NFL 9/10 Early Game - Halftime Roundup

With most of the early games at the half or close to halftime, I'll check in with some NFL thoughts. I'll also check in after the early games end, halftime of the late games, when those games are over and after the Sunday night game.

I picked: Seattle.
Neither team has look good with the possible acception of Detroit's defensive unit and field goal defense team (2 blocks).

Baltimore - 17

Tampa Bay - 0
I picked: Tampa Bay
To say that this is a surprise to me would be an extremely obvious statement. Although Baltimore has played extremely well on defense getting an interception return for a touchdown and a field goal off of another interception return.

Atlanta - 13
at
Carolina - 3
I picked: Carolina.
Atlanta's defense has shut down the Carolina offense. The Falcons have not done well inside the redzone.

Cincinnati - 17
at
Kansas City - 3
I picked: Cincinnati
I'm not surprised to see Cincinnati up on the Chiefs. Rudy Johnson is the highlight for Cincinnati so far in this game.

New Orleans - 9

Cleveland - 0
I picked: Cleveland.
Its ugly, 3 field goals for the Saints and that's the whole story.

Philadelphia - 14

Houston - 10
I picked: Philadelphia
Its a close game right now, Houston is hanging tough. The Philadelphia passing game is looking better than I expected it to look.

Buffalo - 17

New England - 7
I picked: New England
Surprise of the afternoon so far, but New England is missing some key personell. No excuses for what's happening to them but I say that to suggest that maybe this shouldn't be that big of a surprise.

Denver - 7

St. Louis - 12
I picked: Denver
Up until about 15 seconds before the half, Denver had done nothing. Its been a busy first half for Jeff Wilkins.

New York Jets - 13

Tennessee - 0
I picked: Tennessee
The Titans are going to be very very bad this year.
