UFC News and Notes for Friday

Probably not as lengthy as yesterday but we'll see.

The Washington Times Article is titled UFC Boxes out spot in sports marketplace
Mark Ratner mentions Denver, Tampa, Atlanta and Washington D.C. as being looked at for UFC events. Also UFC is targeting Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee and New York for regulation. This is part of the grand plan to get it regulated in every sport even those they never plan to run.

UFC President Dana White conducted an interview with Sam Caplan of CBSSportsline.com and you can read Part 1
and Part 2
He covers a wide range of subjects from Chuck Liddell and Quinton Jackson to UFC 70 and whether or not Travis Lutter will ever fight in UFC again after not making weight for his shot at Anderson Silva.

It is being reported by several sources that UFC 70 will air on SpikeTV.

Monte Cox, the Manager of Tim Sylvia, says that Sylvia's injury was No Excuse for his loss to Randy Couture.

I'll end this for now with enough to fill your apetite without leaving you bloated.
