NFL: End of a distraction?

It is reported that Jerry Porter could be active for today's game and even start.

I'm very curious to see Porter on the field. I don't know if it will make any difference in the win/loss column but whatever.

Alert readers will note that Porter was suspended for 4 games - 2 games ago.

This was the settlement that was reached upon appeal.

Porter takes first Prize

Jerry Porter according to the San Francisco Chronicle's Raiders blog won a WWE style belt in a weight-lifting competition.

Perhaps Porter was able to lift so much weight repeatedly due to being used to carrying his big head around all the time?

At least a Raider finally won something though granted the competition was only open to players on the team.

Whereas, most of what Casey posts in the way of news deals with the more nationally known wrestling companies, Art has a greater knowledge of the Independant Wrestling Scene, especially in the North Eastern United States.
