Roundtable Recap: Victory Road 2007 + Event Thoughts

Standings:
  1. Scott Liedle: 5-2
  2. Art Shimko: 5-2
  3. Mark Danger: 5-2
  4. Euan Taylor: 4-3
  5. Casey Trowbridge: 4-3

I watched the show but didn't do live coverage because I've had a long weekend workingona project that we will be unvailing sooner than you think. This may also result in you not seeing as many posts from me or even on the site for the next little bit.

The show was good though, and that's where I'll leave that.

Quick Site Note and Roundtable reminders

The roundtable reminders are for Cage Rage 22 and Mark Danger's wacky picks are already in for that show...more wackiness is coming.

Also Victory Road is up and ready.

As for the site note my apologies for the updates today, I'm having computer issues that have prevented me from being as complete as I'd like with my updates and am breaking in new web browsers and am still getting used to them.

So, I had to fix a couple of posts from earlier and if there's anything else I should know: let me know

This Week's Roundtables

We have a prediction table for Cage Rage 22 'Hard as Hell' which takes place this saturday. On this one I encourage wackiness, since familiarity with fighters isn't going to be there. Make fun of names, make fun of fighter photos if you can find them...wackiness can reign supreme!

Sunday is TNA Wrestling's 'Victory Road' 2007 and yada yada yada bla bla bla.

TNA Newsbits for 07/07/07

First, my impact recap is coming. I was unavailable when the show aired thursday, but I've got it on my HD just ready for the treatment...I'll not disappoint.

The Weekend edition of TNA Today is here

A selling point for this weeks iMPACT is the fact that Abyss will speak for the first time. I don't think he could be worse than Lashley.

Ultimate X returns at Victory Road.

I'll have more later.

TNA rips off In Your House III for Victory Road Main Event

Spoiler warning...all the good stuff or in this case, lack thereof is behind the cut.

See if this sounds familiar:

The main event for the 7/15 TNA Victory Road PPV in Orlando, Florida will feature TNA champion Kurt Angle & X-Division champion Jay Lethal vs. TNA Tag Team
champions Team 3D in a bout where the winner of the fall will win the championship of the man he defeats.

If a TNA champion loses his title between now and the PPV, the new champion(s) will replace them in the PPV bout.

Diesel/Shawn Michaels Vs. Owen Hart and Yokozuna anyone?

Also, I suspect that this means that Macho Lethal's reign as X-champion is short as I'd say Samoa Joe will end up in this bout before it is all said and done.
