Ticket Sales up, Gate receits down for Pride 33 'The Second Coming'

Short form, they sold 255 more tickets than they did for the debut in October, but took in about 23,000 less at the gate.

This show ranks 9th out of the top 10 gates for MMA in Nevada just ahead of the Pride debut show. UFC holds the top 8 slots with UFC 66 - Liddell, Ortiz II being #1 with $5.4 million at the gate.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission hands down some rulings

*Kevin Randleman was suspended for one year and fined $5,000 for a fraudulent drug test
*Thiago Alves was suspended for eight months and fined $5,500 for failing a drug test for a diuretic in his last UFC fight
*The Gilbert Yvel vs. Sergey Kharitonov proposed match by Pride was nixed as Yvel was denied a license for a 2004 incident where he punched and kicked a
referee after a match
*Kit Cope (Gina Carano's boyfriend) and Joe Pearson were both temporarily suspended for failing drug tests after the WEC show
