CARE/Other Vuz, Vuz, Vuz Jabroni Roundtable Recap 'Fight Night' 10
The Standings:
Scott: 6-3
Casey: 5-4
Wade-Ric-Art-Euan: 4-5
Looking at the matches individually, as well as current standings for uFC, Total MMA and Overall requires you to go behind the cut.
Nate Mohr Def. Luke Caudillo
CARE/Jabronies picked: Caudillo (Unanimous)
We all start off with a big loss, expect to read this some more.
Anthony Johnson Def. Chad Reiner
CARE/Jabronis Pick: Johnson (Scott Liedle) Reiner (Everyone else)
Scott gets a win off of what even he would call a lucky guess as Johnson wins via KO taking the fight on very short notice.
Gleison Tibau Def. Jeff Cox
CARE/Jabronis Pick: Cox (Euan) Tibau (Everyone Else)
Euan starts off 0-3 as Cox loses by first round submission. The 2 men with the nickname of “Grinder” were ground in to dead meat. Wade, Casey, Art and Ric improve to 1-2 and Scott is 2-1.
Tamdan McCrory Def. Pete Spratt
CARE/Jabronis Pick: Spratt (Wade, Euan and Art) McCrory (Ric, Scott and Casey)
It was a split evenly and the McCrory side is victorious. Scott 3-1, Casey and Ric 2-2, Wade and Art 1-3 and Euan 0-4.
Forrest Petz Def. Luigi Fioravanti
CARE/Jabronis pick: Fioravanti (Ric, Casey) Petz (Euan, Art, Scott and Wade)
Euan finally gets on the board with a win from Petz. Scott keeps rolling. The rest of us flounder. Scott (4-1) Art, Ric, Wade and Casey (2-3) and Euan (1-4)
Thiago Tavares Def. Jason Black
CARE/Jabronis Pick: Tavares (Casey) Black (Everyone Else)
Take that, biatches! Scott 4-2, Casey 3-3, Art, Ric and Wade 2-4, Euan 1-5.
Drew McFedries Def. Jordan Radev
CARE/Jabronis Pick: McFedries (Casey, Euan) Radev (everyone else)
Once again, take that, biatches! Casey and Scott 4-3, Euan, Wade, Ric and Art 2-5.
Jon Fitch Def. Roan Carneiro
CARE/Jabronis Pick: Fitch (Unanilously)
Carneiro did well for himself in round 1, but that’s why fights have more than 1 round. Casey and Scott: 5-3, Art, Wade, Ric and Euan 3-5.
Spencer Fisher Vs. Sam Stout
CARE/Jabronis Pick: Stout (Casey) Fisher (everyone else)
Memo to all of you, bite me. Scott 6-3, Casey 5-4, Ric, Art, Wade and Euan 4-5.

With over 20 pro fights to his name in just four years, Spencer “The King” Fisher is one of the most active lightweights in mixed martial arts today. That
description can also apply to his aggressive fighting style, which led to two Fight of the Year candidates in 2006 as he went to war in successive bouts
against Sam Stout and Matt Wiman. Fisher finished off 2006 with an emphatic first round TKO win over Dan Lauzon at UFC 64 in October, and though he suffered
a setback when he was stopped by Hermes Franca in January, the Bettendorf, Iowa resident plans on extracting some payback from the man who gave him his
first UFC loss, Sam “Hands of Stone” Stout.
“Fighting in this sport, you want to be the best, and that’s what I strive to be, so fighting as the main event for UFC Fight Night is a dream come true,”
said Fisher. “I’m excited about this fight. I am going to go out there and try to submit him as fast as possible.”
Stout is the North American Welterweight Kickboxing champion, the Canadian lightweight Muay Thai champion and the Canadian lightweight mixed martial arts
champion. He is an excellent striker and seven of his eight MMA victories have come by knockout. This 23-year old striking ace, who is 1-1 in the Octagon,
hopes to duplicate his March 2006 win over Spencer Fisher and send the respected Team MFS fighter back to the drawing board.
“I’m twice the fighter I was when we fought last time. I beat him by majority decision, but I’m excited to fight him again. To beat him twice would be great!”
said Stout. “Being the main event, there is always a little more pressure, but I fight best that way. I’m looking forward to giving the millions of fans
watching a finish June 12.”
In a featured bout, Jon Fitch will face Brazilian Roan Carneiro in a three round welterweight battle. Fitch carries a simple philosophy when it comes to
fighting, stating, “I fight like a thief. If you leave a window open I will crawl through it and make you pay.” So far, that approach has worked like a charm as the former Division I wrestler from Purdue has compiled
five straight wins in the UFC without a loss, the most recent being a submission win over Luigi Fioravanti at UFC 68 in March of this year. But to continue
his upward climb in the sport’s most competitive division, 28-year old Fitch must get by tough BJJ expert Roan Carneiro.
Once Rio de Janeiro native Carneiro got a foothold in the world’s most competitive sport, he ran off a five-fight win streak that stamped him as a fighter
to watch. With tenacity, talent, and a devastating Anaconda choke, this 29-year entered the Octagon for the first time in April and defeated standout veteran
Rich Clementi. Now he faces Fitch and looks to establish himself as one of the best 170-pounders in the UFC.
The remaining bouts for UFC Fight Night will be announced shortly. All bouts are subject to change.

This show will likely take place at the Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood Florida.
This is not exactly a lineup loaded with star power but I think this is the kind of lineup you're going to see on SpikeTV with the number of shows added, the HBO deal and so on and so forth. This could be what these fight nights have become.

The rumored card as it stands:
Spencer Fisher Vs. Sam Stout
Drew McFeddries Vs. Jordan Radev
Stephan Bonnar Vs. Mike Nickles
Luigi Fioravanti Vs. Forrest Petz
While I'm here, the WEC show on May 12 has undergone another change as Jamie Varner has been forced off the card with a rib injury.
At UFC 73, could we see Chris Lytle Vs. Jeff Joslin?
Joe Lauzon has another recap of TUF 5. Seriously, his articles are great. Joe talks a lot about Gabe "Easy way out" Ruediger and so why not profile him?
Chuck Liddell says that he'll end the string of upsets at UFC 71.
UFC.com has video of Rampage training for the fight.
I'll have more stuff later this afternoon.

You'll forgive me if I've forgotten something. It helps that a number of these events I won't have to pay for. It is worse if you count Saturday Night's Main Event which airs on June 2.
This was April's Schedule if you've already forgotten.

Spike TV has two Ultimate Knockouts specials tonight from 6-8 p.m., followed by a replay of UFC 70 head-to-head with
IFL and Raw running from 8-11:30 p.m. That means the tape of the Cro Cop knockout should go against the Raw main event.
Besides tonight, the UFC schedule for this week is Unleashed at 9 p.m. tomorrow followed by a replay of Ultimate Fighter at 10 p.m. The new episode of
Ultimate Fighter airs Thursday, followed by Unleashed with the Karo Parisyan vs. Nick Diaz and Georges St. Pierre vs. Frank Trigg matches. They are now
having every Friday night be tapes of old Ultimate Fight Nights from 10 p.m. to midnight with the Nathan Marquardt vs. Ivan Salaverry boring match as the
main event this week.
Also Cro Cop getting Knocked Out aired on Sportscenter yesterday. Odd they showed it the day after it happened, I watched Saturday night waiting to see if they'd show it and they did not.

Part 2 we take a look at some disturbing news from the world of disturbing news.
I apologize for the echo, I have recently purchased a new microphone and it does its job a little too well. So, now it picks up Euan in my computer speakers so you hear everything he says twice which is bad enough. However, rest assured I am committed to making this thing sound as good as possible and the new microphone has improved the audio quality somewhat, and I assure you for the TNA preview show, the speakers will not be heard in the background.
