ACW News: 7/17 Results & 8/4 Information

On Tuesday July 17, 2007American Combat Wrestling returned to Bourbon Street Night Club 4331 US 19N in New Port Richey, FL. The evening was violent and hardcore with two Combat title tournament matches.



Speaking of the Combat tournament, the evening was opened by the former champion and current ACW Heavyweight champion “Rough House” Ralph Mosca. But before he could really express his thoughts, the New Movement hit the stage. David Mercury spoke for the group about his partners in crime having two matches tonight and how they would advance in the tournament. Mosca reminded them who their opponents in the tournament were, namely Sideshow, Dany Only and Ray Beez. Mosca dared Eddie Taurus to give Mercury his number one contenders spot. Taurus agreed and Mercury is now the number one contender. Mosca was so confident he would beat Mercury he is going to let him choose the stipulation.



(1) Nick “I’m Not Gay” Fame defeated Shayne Swift.

Despite working in tag matches in recent weeks, Swift took the fight to Fame and his left arm. Fame got a little upset and kicked Swift in the hamstring but Swift fired back with a series of kicks that sent Fame running to the floor. Swift followed with a plancha and brought Fame back in the ring where Fame fell to the mat with an injured knee. Referee Billy Dalton checked on Fame and when Swift thought it was over, Fame attacked from behind in true gold bricking fashion. Fame tossed Swift’s left shoulder into the middle turnbuckle and he continued the attack with a backbreaker on the arm. Fame did further damage when the duo fought on the floor and Swift’s arm met the bar. Swift fired back with a body block and Whisper in the Wind but Fame leveled him with a clothesline and a shoulderbreaker for two. Fame went for the submission with an overhand wristlock but Swift fought out, only to be punched right in the teeth. Swift countered out of a shoulderbreaker and back up into a DDT but couldn’t follow up. Swift got to his feet but it took three clotheslines to get Fame off his feet. He followed with a series of kicks to Fame’s head but Fame kicked out as he did after the Rocker Dropper. Swift went for another DDT but Fame held on and hit a Northern Lights Bomb and with his feet on the ropes.



(2) Moonshine McCoy defeated Michael Patrick.

The crowd kept calling Patrick an ape and wanted him to shave his back. McCoy tried to do that while raking his nails down Patrick’s back. Patrick bailed to the floor and demanded McCoy play by the rules. Patrick finally came back to the ring but his armbar was countered by McCoy and he backed to a corner for sanctuary. Patrick got a side headlock and punched McCoy; all that did was hurt his fist. But the choking on the ropes slowed McCoy down somewhat. Patrick kept the rulebreaking up with eye rakes and chokes. But when Patrick went up top McCoy fell into the ropes and it cause Patrick to lose his balance and McCoy press slammed him off. McCoy went on the attack but was slowed by a knee to the gut. However the end came for Patrick when McCoy countered a slam into a Slop Drop.



(3) Nooie Lee defeated Suicide.

Having faced each other in other Florida promotions, Lee knew his opponent and jumped Suicide. But it backfired as Suicide took over with a series of high flying moves. Lee put a stop to all that with a belly to back suplex for two. Lee hit a slam and a powerdrive elbow for two and laid in some kicks to Suicide’s prone body. Lee kept Suicide grounded with a neck vise submission but Suicide fought to his feet but got taken back down with an STO for two. Lee hit a leg lariat and took Suicide back to the mat with an abdominal stretch like hold. Suicide got to his feet again but Lee hit a modified Sky High Slam for two. Lee went for another submission with a leg lace but Suicide hit several forearms to get out of the hold but fell right back into a chinlock. Suicide got out of the hold with a jawbreaker but his top rope move was briefly cut off. Lee and Suicide fought on the top but it was Lee who fell back to the mat and Suicide hit a body block. Suicide got to his feet first and took over with a double knee jawbreaker. But it ended for him when he got too close to Lee who got the pin with a chain wrestling move.



(4) ACW Tag Team champions Delta Iota Kappa (“Candizzle Dream” Joshua Masters & Sedrick Strong w/Fetish) defeated ACW Cruiserweight champion Jaison Moore & the Flea From The Hind of a Dog.

The champs had no clue how to handle the Dog so they kept Moore in the ring. That didn’t really go great either as Moore came ready to walk out with double gold in his hands. The Dog tagged in and tried to bit Masters hand off. Obviously Masters didn’t like that so he kneed the Dog in the gut and the DIK attack went into full swing for several minutes. The Dog survived this attack and was finally able to tag Moore back in. But despite their best efforts, Moore and the Dog fell to DIK and a double team chokeslam.



(5) In an opening round ACW Combat championship tournament match, Eddie Taurus of the New Movement (w/George Martel) defeated Dany Only.

All Combat matches are HARDCORE and this was right up Only’s alley. Taurus decided to counter this with a power attack, shoving Only to the canvas. But this didn’t work out as Only got a series of quick two counts before Taurus bailed to the floor. Only followed and the fighting was on, in and out of the ring. Taurus went right back to the ring to equalize Only’s brawling with wrestling and some kicks to the middle of Only’s back. Only fought back with right hand punches to the jaw but Taurus hit a leg lariat for one. Martel decided to spice things up so he handed Taurus a trash can but it ended up on Only’s hands and over Taurus’ head. Only kicked the can and it sent Taurus falling to the mat. Taurus fought back with chest chops, forearms and a blatant choke. Only avoided a corner splash and hit Taurus with a Hot Shot followed by a leg drop for two. Only went to the ropes but Martel tripped him up and Only followed to the floor to choke out Martel. Taurus followed with a cooking sheet but missed Only who spewed green mist into Taurus’ eyes. Only tried to open up Taurus’ head with right hand punches above the eye. Taurus fought back with punches of his own but Only smashed his face on the ring apron. Only wedged the garbage can in the corner but his whip was countered into a powerslam. Taurus went up top but missed his double stomp and Only blocked the superkick, hitting a sideslam. But Martel got the referee’s attention and Only got his eyes raked. Taurus hit Only with a chair shot and used the chair’s bottom to choke out Only.



(6) In an opening round ACW Combat championship tournament match, Sideshow defeated Austin Amadeus of the New Movement (w/David Mercury.)

Sideshow went right on the attack with a series of kicks to Amadeus’ upper body which made him bail to the floor for advice from Mercury. But Sideshow was in such a fighting mood he followed them out to the floor and the chairs and punches began to fly. When the action came back to the ring it was Amadeus who was delivering the kicks. When Amadeus got tired, he simply tossed Sideshow out to Mercury for some punishment. Amadeus got the garbage can used in the previous match and set it up in a corner. But first he used some chain wrestling chokes on Sideshow and took the can to Sideshow’s body. But Amadeus got cocky and when he took his eyes off Sideshow, he got hit with a Backiotomy for two. Sideshow put the trash can on Amadeus’ upper body and hit it with a front kick. The action went to the floor where Sideshow used a fan’s crutch on Amadeus’ throat. Amadeus fought back and hit Sideshow with a backbreaker onto the ring apron for two. Amadeus hit Sideshow with kicks and forearms that sent him back to the floor where Mercury was waiting with open arms and closed fists. Amadeus drove Sideshow’s back into a wall but a miscommunication in the ring cost Amadeus the match as Sideshow hit the Double Penetration to advance. Mercury jumped Sideshow after the match but Ralph Mosca hit the ring and then Mercury with punches to the jaw before Mercury bailed to higher ground.

ACW 7/10 Results From New Port Richey, FL

On Tuesday July 10th American Combat Wrestling returned to Bourbon Street Night Club, 4331 US19N in New Port Richey, FL.



ACW Heavyweight champion “Rough House” Ralph Mosca and Sideshow made their way to the ring. Mosca said next week the promotion was going to bring back the ACW combat championship in an 8 man tournament of pure unadulterated violence. Names announced were Eddie Taurus, Dany Only, Austin Amadeus and Sideshow when Eric Cooper came out to talk to Mosca and the fans. Cooper said being a former Combat champion; he didn’t see why he had to wrestle Ray Beez for his spot in the tournament. That brought out Beez to protest Cooper’s objection.



(1) Austin Amadeus of the New Movement (w/George Martel) defeated the returning Dany Only.

Before the match Martel took the mic and reminded them the New Movement ran things in ACW and would begin the beatings with Dany Only. Amadeus tried to intimidate Only with a slap to the face but that just made Only fired up. Amadeus went to the floor to escape but Only followed out. The action came back to the ring where Amadeus went right to work on the recently healed left ankle and foot. With some help from Martel on the floor, Amadeus tried to do his own surgical work on Only’s leg. Amadeus went for the submission with a modified Cloverleaf but Only refused to quit. Amadeus went for a corner move but Only dropped down and tripped Amadeus sending his face into the turnbuckles. That didn’t slow down Amadeus who kept the attack going until Only blocked a suplex but Amadeus tossed him into a corner, sending Only’s leg into the post. Despite all this abuse, Only refused to quit and somehow hit Amadeus with a Rock Bottom. Martel argued with the referee but this cost Amadeus as Only spit red mist into Amadeus’ eyes and hit the Sky high Slam for two. Only dropped his good leg on Amadeus’ throat but that also got two. Only went to the ropes but Martel tripped him up and it set up Amadeus’s return to the leg submission hold which caused Only to tap out. Only was helped to the locker room by his former partner Sideshow.



(2) In a triple threat match, ACW Cruiserweight champion Jaison Moore defeated Nick “I’m Not Gay” Fame and Naphtali.

Fame went to lock up with Moore when Naphtali tripped him from the floor but Moore took them both out with a dropkick. Moore laid the boots to Fame’s ribs as Naphtali thought out a new strategy. A chest chopping contest switched to a European forearm toss until Naphtali locked Moore in abdominal stretch. But Fame talked Naphtali out of the move so he could attack Moore with a dropkick. Things got a little weird as a wheel barrel move by Naphtali led Fame’s face accidentally to Moore’s crotch. Moore didn’t care for that so he kicked Fame right in the back. Naphtali went to follow suit but dropped into a rear chinlock. Fame got out of the hold and hit Moore with an Otani kick to the corner. Naphtali and Fame seemed to make a semiotic bond of sorts as they attacked Moore but Fame jumped into Naphtali’s arms for a manly embrace that Naphtali wasn’t too happy with. So Naphtali picked Fame up for a multi and I do mean multi time airplane spin. Naphtali let the hold go and went up top but came crashing down on his own. With Naphtali out of it completely, Moore hit Fame with a full nelson sideslam into a rear naked choke submission victory.



(3) Shan Hill defeated “the South Florida Phenom” Scott Commodity.

Before the match Commodity tried to insult the fans but they drowned him out with a blah, blah and blah chant.” Hill decided to do his talking with straight up violence on Commodity’s chest with chops. Commodity avoided one but not a backdrop that sent him to the floor to formulate a new game plan. Commodity came back and tried to chain wrestle with Hill but he kept ending up with his left arm in some kind of submission hold. Commodity went for a test of strength but Hill slap the taste out of his mouth and went back to the left arm and shoulder. Commodity got free of the hold and tried to make nice with Hill offering a handshake. Hill refused and went back on the attack with suplexes and chops. That was until Hill sent Commodity to the ropes and Commodity stopped, making Hill pursue and be hit with a Hot Shot. Commodity kept Hill off balance with an upper body attack. Twice Commodity locked Hill in a rear chinlock with his knee buried in Hill’s spine. The problem is Hill kept fighting back no matter what Commodity threw at him. Hill escaped the hold but collided mid ring with Commodity and it was a race to clear the proverbial cobwebs. Hill won that race with three clotheslines and a spinebuster for two. Commodity fought back but his RKO was blocked twice and Hill won with what was an excellently executed Dragon Suplex.



(4) In a hardcore match, Ray Beez defeated Eric Cooper.

Cooper took the house mic and said there would be no wrestling, just a straight out fight. Which took the match to the floor where Beez hit a Russian Legsweep into the ringpost and ring apron. Beez hiptossed Cooper into several rows of chairs and then out the side door used for bands to load their gear in. Beez dragged Cooper back to the ring where he his several suplexes in and out of the ring. Cooper fought back with a suplex that landed Beez upside down on the ring apron. Beez fought out of a rear chinlock and Cooper was hit with a duo of knees to the ribs and a running clothesline for two. Cooper fought back with an STO that took the wind out of Beez. Apparently not because Beez got to his feet and hit a clothesline to the floor. The duo fought to the entry way where Cooper hit a Spinebuster onto the band stage for two. Cooper went to dump Beez but he got backdropped on the stage and back to the ring. Beez came off top but Cooper was waiting with a spear for two. Cooper went up to the second and missed a legdrop which let Beez hit a discus clothesline to win and advance to the Combat title tournament.



(5) David Mercury of the New Movement (w/George Martel) defeated Awesome Andy.

Andy tried to match amateur moves with the former Florida HS champion, so Andy sped things up and hit a head scissor and a huricurana which sent Mercury to the floor. Andy didn’t give Mercury breathing room and hit a somersault tope to the floor. The action came back to the ring where Mercury begged for mercy. Andy bought it and got hit with a clothesline for two. Mercury tossed the rulebook out even as he hit textbook suplexes. Andy fought back but Mercury hit a leg lariat for two. Andy fought back and countered out of a hold to hit a reverse huricurana and a Jushin Liger style submission but Mercury fought out of the hold. Andy fought out of a chinlock and hit a handstand into a Pele’ kick. Mercury dumped Andy to the ring apron thinking he had control but Andy hit a spring board dropkick for two. Martel got involved and it allowed Mercury to get the pinfall victory.



(6) ACW Heavyweight champion “Rough House” Ralph Mosca fought Eddie Taurus of the New Movement (w/George Martel and Austin Amadeus) to a no contest.

This was truly a 3 on 1 with Mosca fighting for his life and his championship. The fight lasted about three minutes when Amadeus climbed in and attacked Mosca. Billy Dalton called for the bell ending the match. The New Movement beatdown went on until Sideshow hit the ring and Mosca said he wanted the fight to continue as a tag team match.



(7) ACW Heavyweight champion “Rough House” Ralph Mosca & 2007 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup competitor Sideshow defeated New Movement members Austin Amadeus & Eddie Taurus.

To the shock of many the pairing Sideshow and Mosca was a good team, working over the New Movement for several minutes. That ended when the New Movement isolated Sideshow and went to work on the shoulder and back. With help from Martel’s distraction, Taurus & Amadeus used every dirty trick in the book and then some to work over Sideshow. But that ended when Sideshow countered out of a DVD into a backcracker. But Sideshow was so worn down he couldn’t tag out to Mosca. Sideshow thought he had a tag coming when he kicked Taurus in the jaw but his corner move became a Taurus powerslam, however Taurus’ headbutt missed and Sideshow hit Double Penetration. With Taurus out of his mind briefly, Sideshow crawled and tagged in Mosca who was good and ready to fight. Taurus ended up on the floor as Sideshow/Mosca hit Amadeus with a double team move to win. After the match Taurus said none of it mattered as he still held the number one contender slot to the ACW Heavyweight title. Mosca said to bring it on and no matter what, he had Sideshow’s back.

ACW 7/3 Results: Lots of Fireworks Before The 4th

People of New Port Richey Florida and its surrounding cities came out on July 3, 2007 to celebrate the 4th with American Combat Wrestling at Bourbon St Night Club, 4331 US19N.



The evening was opened by the winners of last week’s barbwire match; Sideshow and ACW Unified Heavyweight champion “Rough House” Ralph Mosca who thanked the fans for coming out. Mosca reminded the fans he has five minutes alone with George Martel later tonight. Sideshow told everyone to attend the 2007 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup in two weeks.



(1) Austin Amadeus of the New Movement (w/George Martel) defeated Shan Hill.

This was Hill’s first match back after a leg injury and Amadeus gave Hill a workout as he made Hill chase him around. Amadeus refused to enter the ring and when he did Hill used his enormous power advantage to manipulate Amadeus’ body into a pretzel. That went on until Martel got involved, dragging Hill to the floor. As Hill stalked Martel, Amadeus attacked from behind. The match came back to the ring where Amadeus took the power game away from Hill by attacking the left arm. Amadeus went for a backdrop which Hill telegraphed and went for a sunset flip, but Amadeus wouldn’t fall. So Hill pulled down his tights, exposing Amadeus’ behind to all and Hill chopped the fanny. Hill hit a spinebuster and thought it was over but Amadeus kicked out. Hill went for another spinebuster but Amadeus grabbed onto Hill and fell forward. With some help from Martel and the ropes, Amadeus got the pinfall victory and he ran to the locker room as Hill realized he got screwed over.



(2) ACW Cruiserweight champion Jaison Moore defeated Suicide.

Both men traded armdrags but Moore hit one then got a waistlock takeover and drove his knee into Suicide’s face. Moore hit a leg lariat that sent Suicide to the floor so Moore followed him out and the forearms ensued. Moore took Suicide back to the ring and buried a kick right in the back. Suicide fought back but Moore hit two clotheslines and an elbow to the face for two. Moore tagged Suicide with several kicks to the face but Suicide hit the ultimate equalizer, a shot to the crotch. Suicide resorted to some martial arts chokes to keep control but Moore fought back with a suplex into a sitout power bomb for two. Suicide fired back with a variation of a jawbreaker using his knees on Moore’s face. Suicide went up but missed a moonsault and Moore went back on the attack and got the submission victory with his variation of the Crossface/STF.



(3) “Raging Bull” Eddie Taurus of the New Movement (w/George Martel) defeated Stash.

Before the match David Mercury tried to convince his former Fahrenheit 420 partner to join the New Movement. Stash thought the offer and the wardrobe Mercury brought with him. But Stash opted to tell Mercury he sold out to the Man. The New Movement jumped Stash but he fought back and hit all of them with a plancha to the floor. After the New Movement held a mini conference, Taurus entered the ring but Stash clotheslined him to the floor. As Taurus regrouped on the floor Stash argued with Mercury but got decked from behind by Taurus who recovered. Once the action came back to the ring, Taurus kept Stash close to the ropes so the New Movement could get in cheap shots as Taurus kept the referee occupied. However all the trickery didn’t get Stash’s shoulders to the mat nor did he submit. Instead Stash thought of his favorite brownies and that got him energized. Taurus tried to slow Stash down with an abdominal stretch, with some additional leverage from his friends on the floor. Stash got his wind back and laid into Taurus with punches and suplex for two. Stash went up top but Taurus moved so Stash avoided Taurus and hit a superkick for two. Stash missed a frog splash but cut off Taurus’ attempted one with a huricurana. Stash thought he had the match won but Martel got Billy Dalton’s attention and Mercury KO’d his former partner with a superkick. To add insult they laid the sport coat over the fallen Stash and mocked the fans.



(4) Due to last week’s main event stipulation, ACW Unified Heavyweight champion “Rough House” Ralph Mosca got five minutes alone with New Movement spokesperson George Martel. Actually Mosca decided to change the plans since someone called Mosca wanting to kick Martel’s ass. So Martel did five minutes with ACW championship committee member Big Jim. Since he was in such a good and inebriated mood, Mosca decided to be the referee for this event that turned into an actual brawl in the ring for about five minutes.



Before the next match Nooie Lee & Shayne Swift came out to address their match from last week with the ACW Tag Team champions Delta Iota Kappa. They said they there robbed last week and wanted a rematch. Well the champions came out and addressed Lee & Swift, accepting the challenge by jumping them.



(5) ACW Tag Team champions Delta Iota Kappa (Sedrick Strong & “Candizzle Dream” Joshua Masters w/Fetish) vs. Nooie Lee & Shayne Swift.

That attack backfired as Lee and Swift sent the champs running to the floor and followed them out with topes. Masters dragged Swift back to the ring and proceeded to beat Swift senseless for several minutes with help from Strong and Fetish’s trusty flogger. Thanks Lee and the fans cheering him on, Swift held off defeat as he was finally able to tag in Lee who cleaned house. Lee hit Strong with a clothesline that sent both of them over the ropes and to the floor. Swift went to follow but Masters dropkicked Swift to the floor. Lee went into attack Masters but instead got hit with a double team chokeslam to lose via pinfall. Masters and Strong felt they needed to send a message to the other ACW tag teams, so they laid out Lee & Swift until the referee threatened to reverse the decision.



(6) In a Hardcore match, Ray Beez defeated “The G.O.A.T” David Mercury of the New Movement (w/Eddie Taurus).

This one actually started out with some amateur moves but quickly became a slugfest when Beez clotheslined Mercury to the floor. Both men traded punches and forearms as the action came back to the ring apron. Beez blocked a suplex back into the ring so Mercury improvised and hit a DDT for two. Mercury went for a submission win with a rear chinlock which looked more like a rear naked choke hold. Beez got to his feet but Mercury hit a running knee to the face. Mercury went back to the submission booklet and locked in a camel clutch like hold but Beez got to his feet only to be hit with a back suplex for two. Mercury locked in a sleeper hold but Beez got out with a jawbreaker and hit an exploder. Beez countered out of a wheel barrel and hit a spinebuster but couldn’t recover. Beez went up top but Mercury met him and sent Beez crashing to the floor. Mercury followed Beez out and tossed him into several rows of chair, sending fans running for their lives. The two men fought over to the main staging area where Mercury hit a suplex and got a two count. Mercury dragged Beez back to the ring and went for a moonsault but landed on Beez’s knee. Beez realized what happened and quickly covered the incapacitated Mercury.

ACW 6/26 results: Texas Tornado Barbwire Main Event!

On Tuesday June 26 American Combat Wrestling returned to Bourbon Street Night Club, 4113 US19N in New Port Richey FL. Best wishes go out to Shan Hill who is recovering from a leg injury.



The evening was opened by ACW Unified Heavyweight champion “Rough House” Ralph Mosca who talked about his match tonight with former ACW Heavyweight champion Eddie Taurus. He also addressed a friend/rival Sideshow who came out to talk to Mosca. Instead they were interrupted by the New Movement. David Mercury addressed his rivalry with Sideshow and the supposed “lack of respect” Mosca shows the ACW title belt. One thing led to another and the main event became a Texas Tornado match with the championship going to the New Movement if they could pin Mosca. Mosca upped the ante and added the stipulation if he got the win, he would get five minutes alone in the ring with Martel.



(1) Ray Beez defeated Big Daddy Pimp.

The two men began trying to feel each other out with chain wrestling. That ended when Pimp blocked a hiptoss and hit a clothesline for two. Pimp kept attacking the upper body with an elbow and some illegal choking. Pimp hit a corner clothesline and another choke on the ropes which brought boos from the fans. Pimp went for a chinlock submission but released it to do more damage. Beez went for a sunset flip pin but Pimp countered into an inverted DDT for two. Not liking the comforts of the ring, Pimp tossed Beez out to the floor where Beez’s head met the ringpost. Both men avoided a countout and came back to the ring for more action where Pimp went for a cocky cover. Beez fought to his feet and hit several high impact kicks and knees to the chest ending with a clothesline for two. Beez went to the second rope but Pimp hit a superkick, forcing both men to the canvas where they fought to beat the referee’s count. Pimp went for the Pimp Driver but Beez countered out and hit the Dumpster Drop to win a hard fought match.



(2) ACW Cruiserweight champion Jaison Moore defeated Logan Fernandez.

The vastly underrated Fernandez won this title shot in a mini-tournament last week and didn’t wait for Moore to hand over the bell, attacking the champion. Moore quickly recovered and fought the challenger into a corner with punches and chops. That attack ended when Moore went up top and Fernandez clipped his knee. Fernandez grounded the champion with chokes and kicks, but wasted time posing for the fans. That allowed Moore some time to recover but Fernandez took him down to the mat with a rear chinlock. Moore fought to his feet but Fernandez hit a forearm to the jaw and judo chops to the throat. Moore fought back with chops of his own and hit a second rope modified jawbreaker move for two. Moore went for a version of Warrior’s Way but Fernandez moved and hit a Northern Lariat which took both men down to the mat. Moore was the first one to his feet and hit what looked like a full nelson facedrop move into the Crossface submission victory.



(3) In a triple threat, Austin Amadeus of the New Movement (w/George Martel) defeated Nick Fame and Suicide.

With a previous business partnership in the air, Fame and Amadeus decided to work together to beat down Suicide. That didn’t work as Suicide was ready and the suggestive sexual overtones ensued. Amadeus and Fame bailed to the floor but Suicide followed with a plancha. Suicide brought Amadeus back in the ring where he hit a springboard leg lariat for two. Fame finally rejoined the match and the double team work began once more in a non-sexual way. Fame and Amadeus played the game let’s see who can hit Suicide harder with dropkicks, suplexes and running boots to the corner. Fame hit a superkick as Amadeus hit a back suplex but the argued over who was going to get the pin. Martel got involved as Suicide was tossed to the floor as his opponents argued with referee Billy Dalton. Suicide reversed a corner move and speared Amadeus but couldn’t avoid Fame’s modified Emeral Frosion. Amadeus broke up the pin and bitch slapping contest broke out between Fame and Amadeus. Suicide hit Amadeus with a frog splash but Fame saved Amadeus. Fame was sent to the floor where Martel kept him occupied long enough for Amadeus to win via Suicide submitting to a camel clutch like hold.



(4) ACW Tag Team champions Delta Iota Kappa (“Candizzle Dream” Joshua Masters & Sedrick Strong w/Fetish) defeated Shayne Swift and 2007 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup competitor Nooie Lee.

The champions came out with new outfits that kind of looked like Team 3D got their laundry mixed with the Christopher Street Connection’s items. Lee and Strong started out but the challengers made several tags keeping Strong on the defensive. Lee and Swift took to the air with planchas to the floor and back to the ring. Their offense came to a screeching halt when Lee’s cross body block was turned into a DVD by Masters. Lee was used as a fraternity initiation project by the champions who double teamed him behind the referee’s back and even got Fetish some quality time with Lee and her flogger. Somehow Lee survived a double slingshot suplex and kicked out of the pin. Lee hit Strong with a huricurana and an enziguri which led to Swift coming in like a clothing sale in 90210. Lee and Swift hit Masters with a double team move and were going to win the titles. That was stopped when Fetish got the referee’s attention long enough for Strong to spear Swift and lay Masters on top for the pin.



(5) In a Texas Tornado Barb Wire Match, ACW Unified Heavyweight champion “Rough House” Ralph Mosca and 2007 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup competitor Sideshow defeated David Mercury and Eddie Taurus of the New Movement (w/George Martel.)

Taurus and Mercury jumped their opponents at the bell but it backfired as they were sent to the floor where the forearms and punches flew. Mosca tossed Taurus back to the ring while Mercury and Sideshow brawled around the floor and to the entry way. Taurus used a crutch on Mosca’s back as Mercury laid the boots to Sideshow. Taurus grabbed some loose barbwire and used it to open up Mosca’s forehead. Mercury joined Taurus in the ring as they found a barbwire wrapped chair and used it Mosca’s back. Sideshow finally made his way back to the ring where he used the barbwire on Taurus’ head to open him up. Mercury hit Sideshow with the barbwire chair actually hitting him in the ass. Sideshow fought back hitting Mercury with a Catatonic backbreaker. But Sideshow was hit in the head by Taurus and the barbwire chair. Sideshow reversed and Irish whip and Taurus’ back met the wires while Mercury kept trying to open Mosca’s gash up wider. Mercury also opened up a cut on Mosca’s left bicep with barbwire. Sideshow hit Taurus’ back with the chair but Mercury hit Sideshow and it allowed Taurus to hit a German suplex. Mercury and Mosca fought on the floor and Mosca sent Mercury crashing into the ringpost and used the chair to open up Mercury’s head. Mosca’s next weapon of choice was a barbwire wrapped pool cue and he used it on Mercury as Sideshow dropped a shot on Taurus’ crotch. Taurus fought back dropping Sideshow gut first onto the ropes. Mosca went under the ring and found a folding table which he set up for use. Mercury got Mosca back in the ring for a top rope elbow as Sideshow laid Taurus on the table and hit a top rope elbow of his own. Martel found tacks under the ring and gave them to Mercury for use in the ring. But Mosca saw what was in his future and whipped Mercury into a corner wrapped in barbwire. With Mercury disoriented, Mosca picked him up and won with the Burning Hammer into the tacks. By winning this match Mosca gets five minutes with George Martel.

ACW 6/19 Results with Six Man Elimination Mayhem!

On Tuesday June 19, 2007 American Combat Wrestling returned to Bourbon Street Night Club, 4331 US19N in New Port Richey, Florida.



The evening was MC’d by the one and only Mr. Scott Evil who brought out ACW Unified Heavyweight champion “Rough House” Ralph Mosca who sported a scar on his head from Saturday’s match with “the Marquee” Bruce Santee. Mosca announced there would be a 4 person tournament to crown a #1 contender to face ACW Cruiserweight champion Jaison Moore next week. He also brought out the injured Dany Only who addressed the status of Dogmatika. Only said before he could make amends with Sideshow, Nooie Lee got in the way. He said once he was medically cleared from his leg injury he would settle all the scores.



(1) In the cruiserweight tournament, Logan Fernandez defeated Chris Jones.

Before the opening bout Fernandez belittled the fans and his opponent for his musical choice of Fergie’s “Fergilicious.” Jones let his wrestling do the talking with chain wrestling moves and some mind games. Things came to a screeching halt as Fernandez appeared to injure his left ankle but it turned out he was gold bricking and suckered in the referee and Jones. Fernandez went to work with a side slam for two and several chokes along the ropes. After a corner move that caused whiplash, Fernandez took Jones to the mat in a stretch. However Jones powered out and hit several offensive moves that led to a two count. Fernandez fought back with forearms to the jaw and two corer splashes. But his third corner move was met with a running boot to the jaw. That allowed Fernandez to win via pinfall.



(2) In the cruiserweight tournament, Nick Fame defeated Naphtali.

Early on this was a match of who could be the better at tearing someone’s left arm off a body. However it became interesting when Fame went for a waistlock and Naphtali went to the ropes for a break and it appeared Fame did some bump and grind work. After things got straightened out we were back to wrestling and criss-cross that became a cardio workout for Naphtali as Fame stopped running. Fame went to work but missed a dropkick and Naphtali choked him with his ring jacket, but Fame had other ideas which will not be mentioned here. Naphtali hit a snap suplex and a Garvin Stomp for one. Naphtali tried to kick Fame straight but psyched out the crowd with a rear chinlock. After missing an elbow Naphtali took Fame for a ride on the Airplane Spin that went on for about 35 revolutions. Naphtali was so out of it from the spinning he rolled up the referee for a two count. Fame got to his feet and rolled up Naphtali to advance. You read that correctly, Nick Fame won!!



(3) 2007 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup competitor Nooie Lee and Shayne Swift defeated The Lifeguards (Daron Smythe and Wade Koverly)

Lee and Swift played mind games with the Lifeguards coming out in Spider Man/Venom hoods. The Lifeguards must have not hydrated properly before the match as Lee and Swift had them in trouble for several minutes. That was until the Guards were able to isolate Swift, using some legal and border line illegal tactics. The fans didn’t appreciate the Lifeguards tactics and were solidly behind Swift as he somehow survived the beating. After a mid ring collision with Smythe, Swift was able to tag in Lee who hit Koverly with an STO for two. All four men got involved and Swift hit Smythe with a spinning tope to the floor. Lee called for the Dragon Bomb but Smythe hit him with a superkick. Lee survived a double team move and hit a Code Red style move to win for his team.



(4) In the cruiserweight final, Logan Fernandez defeated Nick Fame.

Fame made a bad judgment call in doubting the fight in the shorter Fernandez and he ended up on the mat in a side headlock. Fame fought back with a backbreaker for two. The match went to the floor where Fame rammed Fernandez’s back into the ring apron. The action finally came back to the ring where Fernandez hit Fame with a forearm shot but his rope move was met with a dropkick to the face. Fame kept Fernandez grounded with a rear chinlock but Fernandez got out with a jawbreaker. His offense was cut off when Fame hit a tilt a whirl slam. Fame got cocky and went up top but Fernandez met him and brought Fame off with a release German suplex. Both men fired back at each other with suplexes but Fernandez hit a belly to belly suplex. Fame recovered and blocked a superkick but couldn’t stop a second one that nearly sent his mouth piece into the seats.



(5) In a six man elimination match, The New Movement (Eddie Taurus, “the G.O.A.T” David Mercury & Austin Amadeus w/George Martel) defeated Ray Beez, 2007 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup competitor Sideshow and Damien Angel.

Things didn’t go the way of the New Movement in the opening minutes and they were beaten up in and out of the ring. Finally the match came back to the ring where Taurus was confronted by his former partner Angel. But before anything happened Mercury struck from behind. Angel did his best to avoid being eliminated even as he was being double and triple teamed for several minutes. Even as his team mates and the crowd cheered for him, he was part of a Tower of Doom suplex involving all six men. Beez went for a splash to the floor but Amadeus caught him and hit a powerslam. The same happened in the ring and Angel was eliminated by Mercury. Amadeus followed Angel to the locker room as Beez eliminated him with a straight jacket neckbreaker. Right after the fall Mercury grabbed Beez and kept him from tagging out to Sideshow. Beez fought back and kept fighting off defeat with the little offense he could muster. Beez was close to tagging out but Martel got Sideshow’s attention and was chased around the ring. This left Beez to be pinned after a Taurus top rope legdrop and a Mercury top rope frog splash. This left Sideshow alone to be double teamed and hit occasionally by Martel when Mercury and Taurus kept the referee busy. This backfired as Taurus was eliminated via pinfall making it a one on one encounter between Mercury and Sideshow. Sideshow went for the patented Double Penetration but Martel kept referee Billy Dalton occupied long enough for Taurus to slide back in and hit Sideshow with a superkick. Mercury used Sideshow’s own momentum to roll him up for the pin with help from the ropes.



After the New Movement insulted the fans, Mosca hit the ring and said he wanted Eddie Taurus to put up his title shot next week in a Texas Barbwire match. Plus we were going to see Sideshow against David Mercury in a NO DQ match. Per the mini-tournament, Logan Fernandez will take on ACW Cruiserweight champion Jaison Moore. Also ACW Tag Team champions “Candizzle Dream” Joshua Masters & Sedrick Strong will take on Shayne Swift and Nooie Lee while Ray Beez goes against Big Daddy Pimp

ACW 6/12 Results: Debuts, Violence and a Shocking Return

American Combat Wrestling’s show schedule has changed. Beginning Tuesday June 12th and every Tuesday after ACW will be at Bourbon Street 4331 US 19N in New Port Richey just south of SR 54.



The show was opened by ACW Unified Heavyweight champion “Rough House” Ralph Mosca who was set to defend the title against one of the members of the New Movement. Never to be shown up, the new Movement (David Mercury, Eddie Taurus and Austin Amadeus) came out to announce their arrival in ACW. They introduced their new acquisition George Martel. Mercury polled the fans as to who did they want to see beat Mosca’s ass. Mosca said he was uncomfortable with the “Goodfellas” attire the New Movement wore to the ring. Finally they decided that Austin Amadeus would take Mosca out. Mosca gave Martel one chance to change his mind and come back to the champ’s side of the world. To the shock of no one Martel refused the offer.



(1) ACW Tag Team champions Sedrick Strong & “the Candizzle Dream” Joshua Masters (w/Fetish) defeated Ray Beez and 2007 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup competitor Nooie Lee.

Despite never been a team, Beez and Lee functioned well keeping the champs second guessing each move. That was until Masters dumped Lee to the floor where Strong and Fetish got in some cheap shots while Masters kept the referee busy. The champs used every dirty trick in their arsenal to wear down the former Cruiserweight champion but couldn’t get the pin or submission. After several minutes of a vicious beating Lee tagged out to the energized Beez, who attacked the champs like he found a gourmet meal in his dumpster. His attack worked until Fetish stopped a top rope move which allowed Masters to hit a suplex like move followed by a double full nelson slam that Beez couldn’t survive. After the match ended Fetish reiterated the end with a screeching yell of victory.



(2) “The G.O.A.T.” David Mercury of the New Movement (w/George Martel) defeated Aaron Epic.

Both men tried to attack the left arm/shoulder with armdrags and hiptosses but it was Epic who hit a several spin head scissor. But his next move was blocked and Mercury hit a DDT. Mercury followed with a power drive elbow for two into a chinlock with his knee in Epic’s back. Martel got involved as he choked out Epic in the corner as Mercury argued with the referee. Fully embracing his new direction in life, Mercury used eye rakes, gouges and other illegal moves to keep control of the match. Despite all those moves Epic got to the top rope and hit a dropkick to the back of Mercury’s neck. When Epic went for his next move Mercury got the referee’s attention once more and Martel dropped Epic on the top rope. This allowed Mercury to hit what could be described as a rolling waistlock into a German suplex.



(3) ACW Cruiserweight champion Jaison Moore defeated former NWA World Jr. Heavyweight champion Jerrelle Clark.

This one went from chain wrestling in the ring to a chest chop contest on the floor before Clark tried to slow it down in the ring with a facebuster like move. Moore fired back with forearms to Clark’s jaw but his rope move was cut off by a knee to the gut. Clark hit several moves to the champion’s back and some blatant chokes in front of the referee. These moves did damage but didn’t lead to a pin. Clark’s corner splash met Moore’s boot and the champ hit a double knee move to the face. Moore ran into an elbow which Clark followed with a triple jump moonsault for two. Clark hit a T-Bone suplex for two and followed with a snap suplex before going to the rope for a one and a half splash also for two. Moore recovered to hit an inverted knee drop and a dropkick which sent Clark to the ring apron. Clark flipped into ring and hit a dropkick of his own. Moore fought out of a chinlock and hit a Blockbuster for two. The two men fought for position as Clark went for the Jerrelle Driver but Moore countered out into Emeral Frosion to win the hard fought match.



(4) In a #1 contenders match, Eddie Taurus of the New Movement (w/George Martel) defeated 2007 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup competitor Sideshow.

Shan Hill was supposed to be part of this match but due to a leg injury he was unable to compete. Sideshow wanted Hill out so he went towards the locker room to investigate but he was jumped from behind by Taurus and they brawled all around and back to the ring. Taurus bailed to the floor so Sideshow followed with a tope off a chair to the floor. The match came back to the ring where both men went for waistlocks but Martel grabbed Sideshow and hit a Hot Shot. Taurus hit a leg lariat and a kick to the back of Sideshow’s neck. With help from Martel, Taurus kept control until Sideshow hit a clothesline and a kick of his own to Taurus’ back. Sideshow placed Taurus on the top and came off with a huricurana for two. With Taurus out for a moment Sideshow slid to the floor to knock out Martel. However when Sideshow got back in the ring he was hit with a Taurus German suplex for two. Feeling cocky Taurus went for and missed a Dynamite Kid top rope headbutt. Sideshow hit an Otani kick and called for Double Penetration but Taurus countered so Sideshow countered into a backcracker for two. Sideshow went for his finisher again but Taurus countered into a German suplex for two. Taurus went up top but Sideshow stopped him as Martel argued with the referee. This allowed David Mercury to come out and stop Sideshow’s move, which allowed Taurus to hit a top rope DVD into a sitout powerbomb to win via pinfall.



After the match Sideshow ripped his former friend Taurus on the mic after clearing the ring with a chair. He challenged Taurus to a NO DQ match on 6/16. The challenge was interrupted by Taurus’ former tag team partner Damien Angel who called Taurus into the ring to try and iron out some business. He was interrupted by David Mercury who said that he spoke for the group and Angel needed to bounce. This led to a stare down between the three men and left all confused as to where Taurus’ allegiance lied.



(5) “The South Florida Phenom” Scott Commodity defeated 2007 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup competitor “the Natural” Kenny King.

Before the match Commodity reintroduced himself to the fans of ACW. Commodity made the first blow a chest chop which only angered King who fired back with one of his own. Commodity and King countered each others headlocks and head scissor take overs until commodity hit some forearms to the jaw but missed an elbow drop. He quickly recovered but King got a mat based side headlock and hit a dropkick before taking Commodity back to the mat once more with a front facelock. Commodity countered out to a hammerlock which King countered out of with several hip tosses. King went for a second rope rear elbow but Commodity was nowhere to be found. Commodity used the ropes to choke out “the Natural” even as the referee threatened a DQ. King scored a rollup for two but Commodity’s kickout sent King to the ropes and he came off into a clothesline for two. Commodity locked in a neckvise move but King fought to his feet but Commodity hit a spinning neckbreaker for two. Commodity went back to the rear chinlock and floated into a Crossface but King made it to the ropes. Commodity went up top but King met him with a crotch shot and a dropkick to the face which sent Commodity crashing down into the ring. King hit Commodity with several clotheslines which got a two count. Commodity hit a jawbreaker but got two. King avoided a corner splash and hit a running double shot to the back but somehow Commodity kicked out. Commodity hit a Saito suplex but got two. Both men jockeyed for control of a backslide but Commodity hit a questionable low blow and a piledriver to win.



(6) In an Open Challenge Tables match, ACW Unified Heavyweight champion “Rough House” Ralph Mosca defeated Austin Amadeus of The New Movement (w/George Martel, David Mercury & Eddie Taurus.)

Needless to say this was a knockdown, drag out brawl with action in and out of the ring. Amadeus reversed a whip into the post and sent Mosca into it head first, splitting the champion open above his right eye. The gash was opened by Amadeus right hands and some help from the other New Movement members who circled the ring like rabid dogs. All this did was anger Mosca who fought back with punches of his own. Amadeus grabbed Mosca’s jeans and sent him to the floor where the New Movement triple teamed Mosca. A table was set up at ringside as Amadeus delivered more punches to the champ’s head. Mosca fought back with more punches but a low blow evened things up again as the champ bled all over himself and the ring. The table was slid into the ring and Amadeus set up Mosca only to get his package hit with a punch and Mosca hit a power bomb to win.



The match was over but the New Movement attack was far from over, until the former ACW Heavyweight champion “the Marquee” Bruce Santee made a surprise appearance after a lengthy absence. Santee said he was ready for his match with Mosca on 6/16 and only came out to make sure Mosca was in the best shape possible so he could prove he was the better man and better ACW Heavyweight champion after eight months of arguing.

ACW News: 6/12 & 6/16 Talent Announcement

American Combat Wrestling’s show schedule has changed! Starting this Tuesday June 12th we will be running weekly shows once again. Every Tuesday ACW will be at Bourbon Street 4331 US 19N in New Port Richey just south of SR 54. Show Starts @ 8:45 PM. Doors open at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $5 with 25 cent drafts and other drink specials. Go to acwflorida.com for more information. In addition ACW will be hosting a show at the Jewish Community Center in Port Richey next Saturday June 16th. ACW has already signed several matches listed at the bottom of this information packet.
