New Podcast

Euan did not link this yesterday, but we have a new audio show for your enjoyment and I warn you now, Euan is drunk and very offensive. Art and I are also offensive but less so than Euan by a considerable amount.

Speaking of the podcast, look for an announcement in the coming days.

The Four Horsemen Shoot On Benoit Family Tragedy, JBL, & Ric Flair's Last Run? (07/02 MNM)

Courtesy: www.MondayNightMayhem.com

Former NWA World Television Champion, former NWA United States Champion, & former NWA/WWF World Tag Team Champion, Tully Blanchard, as well as legendary manager/former "Commissioner" of World Championship Wrestling, J.J. Dillon, were the two special guests on this past week's live edition of Monday Night Mayhem (07/02/07), which can be heard in streaming audio every week (hosted by The Big Mosh, Blade, & The Angry Hero, and heard LIVE at 8PM ET/7PM CT every Monday night) exclusively on The Monday Night Mayhem Radio Network (www.MondayNightMayhem.com, www.OnlineWorldOfWrestling.com, www.ProWrestlingPress.com, www.AllWNYRadio.com, www.Showdown,net, & www.AudioWrestling.com).

Log onto the front page of www.MondayNightMayhem.com for more information. For $4.95, you cannot go wrong fans!

This exclusive interview with two of the original members of The Four Horsemen can now be heard for FREE in Real Audio.

Here are some of the highlights from the interview provided by Mayhem listener, Evolution1 & The Mayhem's co-host, The Big Mosh.

======================================================

*Both J.J & Tully were welcomed to the program by Mosh & Blade, and they were very grateful to be spending some of their time during the 4th Of July holiday with The Mayhem & the wrestling fans throughout the world. Both Tully & J.J. will be a part of next month's NWA Legends Fan Fest in Charlotte, NC. Log onto www.NWALegends.com for more details on the entire weekend's festivities, as well as how you an purchase tickets & who else will be a part of the "trip down NWA memory lane."

*The Big Mosh commented on the legacy of The Four Horsemen, calling it a slice/a part of "Americana." Especially in the wake of the continuing coverage of the Benoit family tragedy that wrestling fans have been bombarded with the past two weeks, both Tully & J.J. agree that their mindset was always to perform to the highest possible level and to give back to the fans every time they stepped inside the ring -- "with 110% effort & energy." Tully said that today it's more of a matter of other people looking out for themselves, and not for the giving of the business as a whole.

*J.J. said that especially right now, it is very difficult to focus on the positives of the wrestling business, in the wake of the recent passing of "Sensational" Sherri & the Benoit family. He believes that what The Horsemen put into the business 20 years ago carries into today's business aspect about giving the fans everything you have in the tank, the aspect of "performing twice on Saturday & twice on Sunday." The work ethic kept them together then, and still keeps the business together in that positive aspect today.

*With regards to the coverage of the Benoit family tragedy, J.J. believes that some of the cable news networks did not know where to get their information -- which led to a lot of "absurd" comments being made by misinformed individuals. "When something like this happens, there is media overkill." To a degree, J.J. feels that there is some correlation in between the lifestyle wrestlers lead to these unfortunate & tragic end results that happen. "It is a tough lifestyle that is not for everyone" -- as wrestlers spend time away from their families/miss important events in their life because they do what they love inside the squared circle.

*Tully stated that when he walked out of the ring on his last night in the NWA in Philadelphia, PA, that was the last, real night of The Four Horsemen. The NWA/WCW tried several times to recreate newer & better versions of the faction (to try & sell some tickets/merchandise), but Tully strongly believes it was never the same as the original group -- "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, Ole Anderson, Tully Blanchard, & Arn Anderson (being managed by J.J.).

*To silence the critics on this particular topic, Tully wished to go on record about what has been reported about a recent return to World Wrestling Entertainment. "I did not return to the WWE -- that's is everyone's misconception." He was flown up there to observe, and to see if that would be something he would be interested in doing...period. He was offered a job, but they never talked about finances & more details, in the course of him being there for two days. The determining factor in him deciding not to take the position was a conversation he had with the late Chris Benoit, when Chris asked Tully "if he missed the business." He does not, and feels that to an extent, the business has passed him by.

*With regards to the alleged "heat" with the current color commentator of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, JBL, "it was a one-sided conversation" with a guy that he does not recall even meeting. Tully continued on by saying that it was his job for people to be angry/mad at him in his career, and he must still be doing that right, because JBL is still mad at him.

*Tully was not overly impressed with the new Four Horsemen DVD recently put out by the WWE, saying they displayed more personal negatives on himself then positive -- especially the part about him being sober for the past 17+ years & Christ changing his life. Also, to begin with, Tully said the original concept of the DVD was a Four Horsemen project, and then it changed afterwards to "Ric Flair & The Four Horsemen." J.J says it was a well-done DVD, and was fairly accurate. J.J also added the fact that The Four Horsemen were already famous & credible before they formed the faction, and Flair added even more credibility to the group being the World Heavyweight Champion.

*Mosh & Blade talked about the rumors of "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair possibly retiring at WrestleMania 24 in Orlando, FL and being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame, and the idea of having the original Four Horsemen being inducted on the eve of WrestleMania. Tully stated that he is under contract by the WWE *for personal appearances, action figures, etc). He would be open to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame, and being a part of the celebration. J.J went on record by saying that Ric is "better than 75% of the workers in the business." J.J has never spoken to Vince McMahon since he last worked for him, but would be willing to put his differences aside, and would be proud to be inducted as well, along with his fellow Horsemen.

*Plenty of discussion is contained in the rest of this hour-long interview, including: Tully & J.J.'s thoughts on whether or not World Wrestling Entertainment should change their Wellness Policy, the loss of credible managers in the business today, & their respective thoughts about returning to "Horsemen country" in August for the NWA Legends Fan Fest. All old-school fans will love this interview, and is definitely a must-listen for your 4th Of July holiday week!

Karl Stern Combat Sports Radio Announcement

I'll be posting the first half hour show for
Figure Four Wrestling
online around July 1st followed shortly by a longer show at our web site. I'm also in the process of re-writing and adding a bunch of MMA stuff to the wrestling
time lines book which I'll have for sale at our site by the first of August. I'll have pricing information and such available next month.

Our new show will be a lot different from our old shows as I'll be taking a more news oriented approach to things this time. The podcast community is already
covered up with people giving their opinion on what's happening. Since our show will be hosted at F4W it wouldn't make sense for me to do another show
that is a lot like the Bryan and Vinny show or Dr. Keith, instead I want to do a shorter more news oriented show for that site then on our longer show
at
KarlStern.com
I will talk more about our opinions on what's going on plus a lot more MMA and things in the combat sports realm (including fitness, some boxing, even martial
arts related movies and traditional martial arts).

I want to thank my friends and co-hosts Big Daddy Will, Rodney the Grasshopper, and Ric Gillespie for their encouragement over the last year and honestly
their interest in a new project is what inspired me to finally do something again. For those who will listen to the 30 minute shows at F4W you can expect
mainly pro wrestling with very little MMA and a lot of wrestling history stuff, then if you listen to our shows at KarlStern.com you can expect more MMA,
martial arts, and general talk. Between the two shows I think most combat sports fans will find something they like.

KarlStern.com will not be a pay site. We will generate income from the sales of our new Time Lines of Combat Sports book, merchandise (go to the store which
should have KarlStern.com merchandise available by mid-July), and advertising. If you are interested in advertising on our shows please contact me at
karl@karlstern.com .
We are especially interested in people advertising indy wrestling shows and MMA events, schools, conventions, seminars, and the such. You'll find our rates
are extremely reasonable and if you're interesting in being a regular sponsor of our shows I'll hook you up with an even better rate then.

Note from Casey: I was very surprised and also very happy to hear of Karl's return.

Sherri Martel's Family Issues Statement/Memorial & Funeral Arrangements (6/18 MNM)

The late "Sensational" Sherri Martel's son (Jared) & best friend/long-time travel partner (Dawn), along with WCWA promoter, Rob Reeder, were the very special guests on this past week's live edition of Monday Night Mayhem (06/18/07), which can be heard in streaming audio every week (hosted by The Big Mosh, Blade, & The Angry Hero, and heard LIVE at 8PM ET/7PM CT every Monday night) exclusively on The Monday Night Mayhem Radio Network (www.MondayNightMayem.com, www.OnlineWorldOfWrestling.com, www.ProWrestlingPress.com, www.AllWNYRadio.com, www.Showdown,net, & www.AudioWrestling.com).

This very special tribute to the late WWE Hall Of Famer return to The Mayhem airwaves is now available in Real Audio.

Here are some of the highlights from the interview provided by The Mayhem's official recapper, PWUSandman 41 & The Mayhem's co-host, The Big Mosh.

======================================================

*Sherri's son (Jared) & her long-time friend, travel partner, and sister (Dawn), & Rob respectfully thanked The Big Mosh, Blade, & The Angry Hero for having them on the show.

*Dawn will be in Alabama this Saturday and will collect cards & donations for the services.

*Funeral arrangements are still up in the air right now.

*There will be a closed service for the wrestlers in the business, and the fans will be able to join for the precession. There will not be a public viewing.

*The fans can also see the precession at the grave site.

*Dawn said that her & Sherri always traveled and did everything together, and that Sherri was a great person who loved her fans. She would always spend time to meet with her fans. Dawn said that it is devastating to her that she isn't going to be with Sherri after 18+ years of being together.

*Dawn & Jared will be at all of Sherri's future bookings to make up for Sherri's passing.

*She said Sherri was very nervous during her WWE Hall Of Fame induction ceremony and didn't know what to wear, and that Dawn had to calm her down before the ceremonies took place.

*Jared said that he was with his mom when they traveled around, but was never shown until WrestleMania weekend last year, when she was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

*He said they were like best friends when they traveled together, and that her mom truly loved the business.

*Jared talked about how his mom was very tough -- even before she died she was still as tough as she used to be, and would put somebody in line if they needed it.

*Dawn said that the business has definitely changed since Sherri first started, because she has not seen anyone as tough or work as hard as Sherri did.

*Jared talked about the times that he spent with her mom, as well as the times that he had to travel without Sherri to make it to the locations that she needed to be in.

*Both of them are getting a tattoo of Sherri to show how important Sherri is to the family -- it's the way for them to "stay together" with Sherri forever.

*Sherri & Jared talked about the Mr. McMahon "death" storyline, and how they continued after Sherri's passing. The family is indeed upset at this, but said that Sherri would have wanted the show to go on anyway.

*In closing, Jared & Dawn want the fans to remember Sherri for what she did for wrestling, her fans, & how she was instead of her recent passing/how she is now.

The entire June 18th program, including the "Sensational" Sherri Martel tribute special can listened to in streaming audio or podcasted at the links seen below:

(www.mondaynightmayhemarchives.com/waxfiles/061807.wax: streaming) or (http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/mondaynightmayhem/~3/125976716/061807.mp3: podcast)

Please post your personal remembrances/favorite Sherri memories, moments, & stories to MondayNightMayhem@hotmail.com or leave them on The Mayhem's official MySpace page (located at www.MySpace.com/MondayNightMayhem). These will be forwarded to the family.

Donations can be made to Sherri's family to the following address:

Dawn Wollersheim
8223 West Douglas Ave.
Milwaukee, WI 53225
(*on the attention line, it should say, in care of Sherri Martel Memorial)

2 Cold's first interview since his WWE release (a Mayhem exclusive), is now available for FREE in Real Audio.

Here are some of the highlights from the interview provided by The Mayhem's official recapper, PWUSandman41, & The Mayhem's co-host, The Big Mosh.

======================================================

*Scorpio was welcomed back to the program by Mosh, Blade, & The Angry Hero for his second Mayhem appearance in the past year. 2 Cold said he was "ready to go like always," and gave a special "wooty woo" to all of his fans listening.

*The question on the minds of most wrestling fans throughout the world: What went wrong that caused the WWE to release him? The powers-that-be thought that he was "not up to par, not quite in shape, and that with all the writing in the company, he would it very odd that they could not find anything for him (either as Scorpio or Flash Funk) on any of the three shows -- RAW, ECW, or SmackDown." He feels, to an extent, that with that said, it was a partial cop-out, with the infamous expression we tend to hear a lot -- "creative has nothing for you."

*One of his best memories he did have working his most recent run in World Wrestling Entertainment was having some decent matches with Gregory Helms. He was overseas, as the WWE put him on one or two of the tours, having the opportunity to integrate his style with the current "E" style.

*Scorpio heard that the reason he was not on ECW was because of alleged "heat" with Paul Heyman (which he had "heard through the grapevine"). The final decision if he was going to be on SmackDown was up to Stephanie McMahon, but again, he does not know why he was not given the opportunity to shine on either brand.

*2 Cold truly believes that the only thing about the new version of ECW is the name.

*He wants it to be known that he did indeed ask for the opportunity to go down to work in Ohio Valley Wrestling to "get off the ring rust & to get in shape" to perfect his game. By never really getting the chance he wanted, he feels he was indeed "screwed."

*Scorpio also feels strongly that "what's old is new," that the company should try going back to some of the more old-school style. The problem with today's product is that it is purely "soap-opera." He thinks that the WWE should not call the matches as much as they currently do, and just let the guys go out there & work -- as there is a very good chance by doing this, it can throw off the matches.

*Taking a trip back, 2 Cold wanted to give props to Michael "P.S." Hayes for coming up with the idea for his initial music video in WCW (which fans can check out on The Mayhem's official MySpace page: www.MySpace.com/MondayNightMayhem). Looking back on it 15 years later now, he asks himself "Damn, who dat?"

*He said that his tag team with Buff Bagwell was good ("a hell of a salt & pepper team"), but they had a falling out & really didn't click with the fans.

*Ten years ago (this November), we will be "celebrating" the anniversary of Scorpio's first WWE run as Flash Funk. From now to then, he believes that the company has changed a "hell of lot" -- "The wrestling has been taken out" (how it mainly was beforehand), and now it's a "24-7 job."

*He recently had the opportunity to work Booker T's new fed down in Houston, TX. Scorpio thinks Booker has a very good opportunity of "opening up another territory," which there hasn't been in a long time. He feels Booker is doing a great job "packing the house."

*2 Cold is going to be challenging Detox & Devon Moore for the PWU World Heavyweight Championship one week from this Saturday night at Pro Wrestling Unplugged's "Crazy 8" event...his return to South Philly. He feels "this is going to be just like the old Scorpio was -- 2 Cold straight to the point, hitting his opponents with the 450." Both Devon & Detox have a slight advantage in the "Crazy 8," because they are more familiar with the match -- but this is not going to deter him. "I have a lot to prove."

*Scorpio is not surprised at Sabu being released by the WWE: "He needs to go where he can be appreciated," as he gives 110% in all of his matches even today, and some people do not see that.

*To close out the interview, he wishes to let his critics (including those in the WWE) know that they should have just let him be 2 Cold Scorpio instead of Flash Funk, as "everyone would have made some money." He did not have any heat with anyone in particular (Vince, Stephanie, Johnny Ace, etc.), but he wishes he would have been given a chance in the WWE.

*In this classic 35+ minute interview, Scorpio gives thoughts on his former boss, Vince McMahon, his WWE travel schedule, if he would be interested in participating in the upcoming NWA World Heavyweight Championship Tournament, the Flash Funk action figure, eating at Abdullah The Butcher's restaurant, & exactly why Mick Foley always brings up "his junk" in each one of his books. Candid thoughts to say the least on these topics & many more, courtesy of "Your Home Of Wrestling Radio" & this Mayhem exclusive!

*You can be a part of PWU's biggest event ever next Saturday night at The New Alhambra Arena -- The Crazy 8! Log onto www.ProWrestlingUnplugged.com for the official lineup for the night (which includes Devon Moore defending the PWU World Heavyweight Championship against Detox & 2 Cold Scorpio, Johnny Kashmere (w/the legendary TV star of the "Batman" series, Burt Ward) vs. Delirious, an Ironmen Match between All Money Is Legal and The SAT's for the PWU World Tag Team Titles, two very special inductions into the Hardcore Hall Of Fame at the New Alhambra Arena (for current WWE superstar & Philly legend, The Sandman & 1/2 of The Public Enemy, the late Johnny Grunge), and much more! The Mayhem is proud to present the Crazy Tailg8 Party (which begins at 4:30PM ET), which will feature former WCW/WWE World Tag Team Champions, The Nasty Boys, former WWE diva, Tammy "Sunny" Sytch, former WWE Tag Team Champion (who will be making his PWU debut), Joey "Mercury" Matthews, along with the other hosts of Monday Night Mayhem (The Big Mosh, Blade, & The Angry Hero) and the stars of Pro Wrestling Unplugged. And if that isn't enough for you, you will be able to take part in the filming of the final entries for "Commissioner Idol." Free mugs, comic books, great tunes, awesome food/beverages, & intense wrestling action -- you cannot go wrong with what will be one of the most unforgettable nights in South Philly's wrestling history.

*Along with Scorpio's exclusive interview, the rest of the June 4th show (which also featured the return of former WWE Cruiserweight Champion & a part of one of the greatest families in professional wrestling history, Chavo "Classic" Guerrero, Sr. -- where he gave his thoughts on his son's (Chavo Jr.) & his sister-in-law's (Vickie) respective runs on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, his brother's (Hector) time with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, as well a possible return to the WWE, & a preview of the recently released "Most Powerful Wrestling Families" DVD) -- plus all of the fallout from this past Sunday night's WWE One Night Stand PPV, with The Mayhem's ECW correspondent, Jim Molineaux) can be listened to right here: (www.mondaynightmayhemarchives.com/waxfiles/060407.wax: streaming) or (http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/mondaynightmayhem/~3/122230232/060407.mp3: podcast)

*This Monday night will be one of the most interactive nights for "Your Home Of Wrestling Radio." On what will easily be one of the most controversial nights of the entire summer, we are proud to present the "Monday Night Mayhem 2007 WWE Draft Special" -- beginning at 8PM ET/7PM CT. If you like the analysis you see for the NFL Draft every year on ESPN with Chris Berman, Tom Jackson, Mel Kiper Jr., & the rest of their gang, then boy are you in for a treat! Joining The Big Mosh, Blade, & The Angry Hero will be The Mayhem's National WWE PPV Correspondent/former WCW & TNA announcer, Scott Hudson, The Mayhem's ECW Correspondent/former ECW referee, The Monster Factory's Jim Molineaux, Figure Four Weekly's Dr. Keith Lipinski, & The Detroit News' Adam Graham for the most complete draft night coverage you will find anywhere...period! The face of World Wrestling Entertainment will definitely change after this night, so if you want the best analysis available on either "broadcast or broadband," then this is one LIVE show you cannot afford to miss!

And with just mere days before the biggest event in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling history, The Mayhem will be taking a look back at some of the greatest moments & memories in TNA, as they set the table for next Sunday night's Slammiversary Pay-Per-View. Joining the program will be X-Division star, Sonjay Dutt, to talk about his new "gimmick" (which many of you fans saw this past Thursday night on iMPACT), his own personal recollections of his time with TNA, and plenty more! Log onto www.TNAWrestling.com for the complete Slammiversary card, plus all of the late-breaking news & notes, as the hours count down until TNA returns home to Nashville, TN.

Want to interact with Sonjay directly, as well as take part in The Mayhem's live WWE Draft Coverage? No problem...The Mayhem Crew will be taking your calls @ 716.989.6630 (long distance charges may apply), e-mails @ MondayNightMayhem@hotmail.com, your comments/questions @ www.MySpace.com/MondayNightMayhem, & feedback on The Mayhem's Message Board @ www.MondayNightMayhem.com.

*All new & old Mayhem listeners can still check out the archived programs/shows of "Your Home Of Wrestling Radio" (including the voice of Monday Night RAW himself/WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross, WWE Diva Candice Michelle, TNA President Dixie Carter, "The Notorious 187" Homicide, Danny Doring's first post-WWE interview, "The Wildman" Marc Mero, Diana Hart Smith, "The Mouth Of The South" Jimmy Hart, "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal, & the official Monday Night Mayhem WrestleMania 23 Countdown Special from Detroit's Hilton Garden Inn)...now available on www.MondayNightMayhem.com, www.OnlineWorldOfWrestling.com, www.Showdown.net, & www.AudioWrestling.com.

Disco Machine Recap

Dr. Keith introduces Disco Machine comparing him with Disco Inferno although Disco doesn't mind the comparisons with Glen Gilbertti. The last time he saw him he was wearing shorts. Keith hopes that they were at least jean shorts. Dr. Keith asks about the recent Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Dynamite Duumvirate Tag Team Title Tournament and the TNA wrestlers being pulled. Disco says it was a mutual decision as the PWG need the DVD sales to survive. Keith suggests speaking with their parents and coming up with a custody arrangement although he wishes to book the talent back on his show first.

Disco Machine puts over CIMA. The good Doctor is amazed that even the Briscoes turned up on time. Disco mentions their problems with airports, alcohol, missed flights and knocked out teeth but they still put on a great performance when they appear. Keith brings up the name PAC. Disco says he is 'not human' and is 'like a video game' hoping that he won't 'die on our shows' , Disco also likens PAC to the first time he saw The Great Muta. Disco also puts over Roderick Strong as a great talent.

Onto Ring Of Honor and does Disco perceive any problems in the future between the two promotions? 'Only scheduling wise I think.' Disco says that there are plenty of exciting plans for the future of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla but currently a secret. After a brief discussion on the blow (or fine sand) under Top Gn Talwar's nose, Keith asks about Super Dragon. Disco talks about Dragon recruiting for the army via intimidation, stating that it was Dragon who intimidating him into becoming a pro-wrestler. Disco talks about Super Dragons amazing ball room and tap dancing skills.

Keith asks about the possibility of a PWG television show or anime? Disco would like to see either a PWG hunky or honky calendar. Disco talks about the growth of PWG in their four years of existence and they are happy with 4-500 people turning up at their shows. Keith asks about any future overseas tours? Tentative plans are being made for 2008. Disco credits the DVD sales for enabling last years tours to be a moderate success. Disco apologises for the lack of recent PWG DVD releases but says there will be a glut of upcoming releases. Keith is happy that the next releases will see more bonus features before talking about his EXPERIENCE IN THE EROTIC ARTS.

The Battle of Los Angeles 2007 is the next topic on the agenda. Disco says the expected dates are 31 August - 2 September. Keith says that Ronin has been tearing through opponents LIKE BARLOW THROUGH A CHUNKY ~ YAY! The two talk about JOEY RYAN'S HAIR next and the de-masking of Ronin due to Joey's underhanded tricks. Keith says he wins his matches SEXILY. The two discuss El Generico's World Heavyweight Title reign and the identity of Scorpio Sky. Keith demands a future PWG show entitled WILLY NILLY. Disco lists the Anniversary show in July, the Battle of Los Angeles in August/September and a planned ALL-Star weekend will be the highlights of the remainder of 2007.

Disco Machine then confirms that he has retired from pro-wrestling and doesn't foresee a return and is content working behind the scenes at Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. He wants to be remembered as the fans seeing the best of him. Disco talks about when he was DDT'd face first of the top rope that changed his perspective. He is HUMBLED that the fans are sad that he's leaving. Keith fondly remembers the time he first saw Disco Machine's disco ball break. 'I will never be in a wrestling ring what I wanna be' but is content with his career and will still be active as the Commissioner of Disco.

Keith asks where the fans can send money to El Hijo Del Disco Machine. Disco adds 'or his psychiatrist bills', he says his son is even crazier than he is and is another Necro Butcher in the making. He's better
looking though as he's from 'good stock'. Final words, Disco IMPLORES the fans to empty their pockets and purchase Pro Wrestling Guerilla DVD's. Check out ProWrestlingGuerrilla.com for information on their ROGER DORN NIGHT~! on June 10 at the Burbank Armory (BRYAN DANIELSON~! Vs. EL GENERICO~!~!~! for the PWG World Title, Richards vs. Steen, Super Dragon vs. Human Tornado, Roderick Strong & Pac vs. Havana Pitbulls and more ) and Disco's MySpace! Great Interview…

CARE Audio Show for 05/30

Myself, Art Ric and Euan (that's CARE for the slow among you) recorded an audio show for an hour and 40 minutes today. We don't specifically preview any of the zillion shows this weekend, instead we look at some of the top issues in the wrestling and MMA world. We also talk about some of the site changes going on at our respective sites. It may not be the funniest show we've ever done, but it is probably the best all around.

When the show is uploaded, you'll know about it.

Dan Madigan Recap

Dr. Keith first asks how Dan came to write for WWE. Dan explains that it fell into his lap 'like a hot cup of coffee', after his agent sent one of his scripts into the WWE film division and was subsequently invited to write for the television shows. After viewing the Katie Vick storyline, Dan saw that anything was possible in WWE except maybe a CHILD SNUFF ANGLE. Dan then wrote a twenty page exorcism storyline resulting in Stephanie McMahon being exorcised on PPV, unsurprisingly; Steph loved the idea and offered him the job. Dan says he was the golden boy for all of five minutes.

Keith asks if Dan was tempted to write a Katie Vick film? Sadly not. When Dan pitched the story for See No Evil, the WWE Films guy declared 'VINCE IS GONNA FUCKIN' LOVE THIS.' The original idea was far more brutal than the finished product. Vince came up with the Kane masturbation scene and Kane's MONSTROUS MEMBER. Dan spoke out against Vince in a meeting whilst all of Vince's stooges remained quiet as Vince wanted Kane to have a THREE FOOT PENIS and Kane's evil mother.

Dan is friends with "Aliens" and "Near Dark" star Lance Henricksen and recommended him to Vince as giving Kane the rub but Vince never gave him the call. Dan says he never made the set of See No Evil in Australia. The original character of Jacob Goodnight was a lot darker but Dan says that Glen Jacobs did an excellent job. Dan wrote a scene where one of the teens was killed by a phone being rammed down her throat with another teen needing to retrieve the phone but the battery went dead. The scene never made the cut.

Keith asks if Dan felt the movie would've been more successful as the original title of "Eye Scream Man?" Dan disagrees. Dan explains that Vince didn't go out of the sports entertainment bubble and talks of the lack of promotion of the film. Keith asks if Dan was happy with the return of the hook to WWE TV and if he had named the hook. Dan says he came up with the hook idea and would have loved Kane to have KILLED The Great Khali with the hook.

Onto writing for RAW and the FROZEN NAZI storyline. Vince loved the original storyline set for Kenzo Suzuki and the Hirohito character. The Japanese Royal Family intervened and threatened to pull WWE off Japanese TV. Dan goes in depth to the Uber Nazi storyline where he wanted to involve the Jewish Paul Heyman. When Madigan first laid his eyes on John Heidenreich it was 'love at first sight.' Dan says he also wanted William Regal to play JACK THE RIPPER. Keith and Dan crave for a midget Hirohito: MINIHITO. Keith talks about his wrestling dream of somehow wanting to combine pro-wrestling with puppetry (and create something better then Rocco or Alex).

Dan talks about the origins of the Mordecai character and how Vince decided to drop it. Dan also explains helping with the Eugene and Carlito characters. Dan says how he wrote a promo for JBL degrading the Eddie Guerrero's mother with Eddie telling Dan how much he enjoyed it. Vince talk. Dan says how much Vince loves the business and the fans and talks of him working seven days a week.

Dan says he became friends with lot of the wrestlers even though he was told not to. Keith asks how Dan got on with the McMahon babies not to be confused by the Muppet Babies. Dan calls Stephanie 'ambitious' and puts over both Shane and Linda. He quit WWE after being in England for a PPV when his wife had a miscarriage and his father-in-law died. During the funeral, he had a phone call over missing an all-important Tough Enough meeting.

Keith asks about Dan's book Mondo Lucha A Go-Go and the foreword by the famous luchador, Kurt Angle. The original plan was for Eddie Guerrero to contribute stories to the book until Eddie's untimely death. Dan talks about the 'conflict of interests' in writing the book whilst working under Vince, Keith asks about the lack of luchadors in WWE, Vince claims that the fans would be confused with two masked wrestlers. Dan told Vince there a 'one hundred fucking thousand masked wrestlers in Mexico'. Dan doesn't believe that WWE would book Mistico properly if he signs for the promotion.

Future works for Dan include another film script, plus a script with a 'Mexican Freddie Kreuger' for Texas Chainsaw Massacre director Tobe Hooper and 'maybe another book'. Keith finishes by asking how Dan
Madigan would like to be remembered in the wrestling world? Dan says in KILLING PAUL BEARER with the cement and finally, as a good guy. Check out

Louden Noxious Recap

Louden apologizes for the ruckus as he is in the middle of a Kaiju Big Battel contract signing with Steam Powered Tentacle Boulder where Kaiju will own all rights of Steam Powered. Keith asks Louden to explain Kaiju to all the poseurs out there. Louden explains that Kaiju Big Battel is an epic battle of good versus evil. Keith calls Kaiju a Godzilla battle come to life. Louden disagrees saying the CITY CRUSHING MONSTERS are real.

Dr. Cube is brought up. Louden has a problem with evil doctors that create evil monsters. Dr. Keith sympathizes as there is an essence to having a cube on your head. Louden's favorite team in Kaiju is Las Plantanos although he tells the torrid tale when Pablo Plantain was MURDERED BY SILVER POTATO. Dusto Bunny is the Kaiju locker room leader. Keith doesn't want to hear about Dusto Bunny though, he wants to hear about the revenge that Pedro Plantain has in store for Silver Potato and Dr. Cube.

To conquer Dr. Cube, Louden suggests that we all FIGHT WITH MIGHT and cheer on the Kaiju heroes as our lives depend on it. Louden is very concerned with Dr. Cube disrespect towards Bob Saget in Chikara Pro. Apparently Bob Saget is tight with the Kaiju office that Dr. Cube has been forced to team with Call-Me-Kevin, who has never won a match, in the ECW Arena. Louden says he has even managed to defeat Call-Me-Kevin with a top-rope hair style maneuver.

Louden is afraid that Dr. Cube might get together in a non-gay way with UltraMantis Black. The Kaiju Commissioner will miss the ECW Arena show as he is busy with his Austrian chocolate factory. Louden tells Dr. Keith that you haven't seen a chicken until you see Tad Bradley. Keith demands to know more of this surfing chicken. After Four Horsemen DVD talk ('Paul Roma is all man'), Louden discusses his love for perfume his love for the smell of monsters, toxic slime, sweat, broken tables and chairs. Louden says he prefers Four Horsemen vitamins to a Kaiju fragrance.

More cologne talk with a time travelling cologne. Louden wants Keith to go back in time and make Paul Roma the greatest Horseman ever, Keith is worried over what may happen to Steve 'Mongo' McMicheal. 'You're so naive' Louden declares. Louden says how grateful he is each and every morning for the Kaiju heroes and thanks his 'lucky stars' and warns all fans of Dr. Cube that 'CUBE IS NOT COOL'. Dr. Keith sees a certain coolness to a Dr. Cube image on a thong or bikini brief. Louden would rather takes his eyes out with a scalpel than like that. Keith finishes by saying that having Louden on the show is like having the hot fudge, peanuts and cherry on his ice-cream sundae although Louden would rather be the sprinkles. NWA Executive Director Robert Trobich and David Marquez Recap

Keith asks for how long the NWA have been trying to take the titles away from TNA and why, due to the visibility of the TNA product? Bob says they had a business disagreement and says both companies agreed to go their separate ways earlier this year. The process of reclaiming the titles was said to be a short process. Dr. Keith asks Robert how long he has been affiliated with the NWA? Bob replies that he is predominantly a lawyer and has been involved in the NWA since 1980 and became more directly involved since 1988.

Bob repeats that while the NWA is synonymous with the past that they are looking forward to being a dominant fixture in the future beginning with the upcoming NWA title tournament. Keith asks about Glamour Boy Shane. Bob iterates that NWA are a global company 'and if you don't look global then you are FOOLISH,' and that 'Shane's been the man'. Dr. Keith asks about dark horses in the tournament. Bob replies that there are several although there is no other name that he'd like to have included in the tournament.

Dr. Keith asks about talent contracted to ROH PPV's. Bob says there's nothing to keep the guys working NWA dates. On a relationship with ROH? 'That's a little premature,' before putting over the product. Keith is OUTRAGED that there is no KAMALA in the tournament. Bob says he is happy with the sixteen names he has in the tournament. Keith mentions that Bryan Danielson said on Figure Four Daily how much he'd like to wrestle the Ultimate Warrior and whether it is money or politics keeping Warrior out of the tournament? Bob sys NEITHER. Before outlining the NWA's tradition of giving young talent the platform to shine.

Keith asks what else is on the card to keep the NWA name alive other than the Big Vision Entertainment DVD deal? Bob lists his battle plan for the future. Keith asks about the titles being defended abroad. David mentions that the women's title will shortly be defended in Japan. Keith wants to know the likelihood of a Mike Quackenbush and Dragon Soldier B title match? David states that Dragon Soldier B is MISSING.
Antonio Inoki is brought up. David confirms that Inoki is an NWA member and Bob assures us that a splendid future does exist between Inoki and NWA. Onto the future of the NWA and the possibility of television, PPV, and rivaling TNA? 'You have to walk before you can run,' replies Bob, pointing out how Jim Crockett Promotions failed by trying to become to big too quick. Bob can see TV and PPV coming along at some point in the future.

Keith talks about Jim Crockett. Bob hasn't spoken to the Crockett family in years since the failed WWA promotion with Paul Heyman. Between full members, associates and affiliates, Bob and David say there are about 2,000 members in the NWA. Keith wonders whether Robert Trobich can see himself as a future Western States Heritage champion? Sadly not. When will NWA reclaim its former glories? Bob says whether it be two years, six, or ten, that it will be done right but it will be okay if they never get to the level of WWE, 'then it will be okay'.

Texas RIOT TALK ~ YAY! David, the promoter of the show, says that he never seeks to openly promote rioting. The riot was unplanned and was due to Joey Ryan and Karl Anderson but you won't see it on an NWA brochure. Final question, how do they want NWA to be remembered in 2007? Bob says that the NWA name is synonymous with excellent professional wrestling entertainment. Check out http://www.nwawrestling.com

Sunny/Tammy Sytch and Jake Black Recap - PWP LIVE Radio
ProWrestlingPress.com

ProWrestlingPress.com LIVE Radio proudly welcomed the “first DIVA” of professional wrestling, “Sunny” Tammy Sytch, as well as one of the most integral people in PWU, Jake Black.

Sunny/Tammy Sytch: A diva, back in college, would go back to WWE, & will be live & In person on Saturday, June 16 for PWU.
- Says she’s not the first lady of wrestling, that will always be Elizabeth. Considers herself the first diva.
- Feels good about so many following her footsteps. “If there are 46 women in the WWE today, 41 wouldn’t have a job” if not for her. Said more than half don’t belong and need to know more about the history of wrestling, even from the last 10 years.
- Had no intentions of being in wrestling. Met Jim Cornette while in college and he convinced her.
- Talked about being more popular than male stars and how Chris Candito was never jealous or spiteful of her success.
- Said Candito hated working for the WWE, which is why he quit.
- Was not fired from WWE, she quit on an ECW pay-per-view and was faxed her release the next day. Was promised more money by Heyman to be at ECW than Vince paid, but the money never came through.
- Hated WCW “because it was ridiculous”.
- Burnt out by WWE at the end. Was not only on the road, but did a lot of appearances, so didn’t get time off. Felt she left wrong from WWF. Says Heyman screwed her & Chris out of a lot of money.
- “You grow to hate the business, you step away for a while, then you crave it.” She would go back to mainstream TV (WWE, TNA) if the opportunity arose.
- Gets WWE 24/7 On-Demand and was told by WWE she would be receiving more royalties soon.
- Won’t get drunk with fans, but will be at the Crazy Tailg8 Meet & Greet on Saturday, June 16 at 4:30 pm. She’ll be there to have a good time & enjoy being with fans.
- Is back at college, graduating in September, working towards being a Physician’s Assistant.

Jake Black – manager, commentator, producer for PWU Power Surge TV – he is a “Jake” of all trades for Pro Wrestling Unplugged.
- Uses Bobby Heenan & Jim Cornette as inspiration.
- Likes to get in fans’ faces as “they are a bunch of annoying people.”
- Says Nate Stein hitting him with a trash can last month was due to Stein’s “misunderstanding” of why Black was in the ring during Stein’s match with Johnny Kashmere.
- Black said he started training to be a wrestler, but didn’t have the drive. Moved over to commentary when the opportunity arose and enjoys it.
- Black & Stein agree that Detox might pull out the win in the main event at The Crazy 8
- Talked about Commissioner Idol. Thought current contestants Kitty, Mike Sanz, and Sean were the top right now, but that the winner could still be out there.
